Molly's POV
i have lived in California for basically my entire life. the neighborhood i lived in had always grown in size, new people moving in, out, new houses being built, or even new parks. all of that stuff fades over though. the one thing i will never forget about that neighborhood is when the Lynch's moved in.3 years later--->
"MOLLY!!!" i was being violently awoken by an impatient ross.
"what!!!" i yelled, opening my eyes a tad to see my blonde best friend.
"wake up. i'm bored." he pleaded. i rolled over, putting the pillow back over my head.
"ross, don't wake me up at..." i glanced at the clock. "eight am!!! especially when you have no reason!" at this very point i was annoyed and wanted him to leave so i could sleep more.
"but i do have a reason!" i could hear his smile from across the room.
"what is it?" i asked, smirking from under the covers.
"to hang out with you. so wake up dummy." rolling his eyes, i saw him get up and yank the warm covers off of me "cmon." he said.
"fine" i gave in. "but your buying me ihop." he laughed, his goofy grin appearing on his face. i loved that smile and i could stare at it for days.
"thank you?" he questioned, giggling a bit.shit. i said it out loud.
i blushed and shooed ross out of my bedroom so that i could change. i put on some comfy cloths and simply brushed the knots out of my tangled hair.
in the car, we blasted our absolute favorite songs and jammed to them for the whole 15 minute ride to my favorite pancake house.
"finally here!" i shouted, kissing the ground. ross laughed.
"get up loser." i got up and gave him a small shove and the two of us walked in laughing. we got a booth and sat down to look at the menu.
"ahem, mam? may i take your order." i was too focused on the pictures of pancakes on the menu to realize i was being asked a question. looking up, i realized that the waiter was extremely good looking.
i guess ross noticed me staring (more like drooling) because he ordered for me.
when the waiter, noah had brought us our breakfast, he also handed me his phone number. ross huffed. "whats your deal?" i asked innocently.
"nothing." he sarcastically said. we then ate our food in an undeniably, uncomfortable silence, tension boiling between our mouthfuls of delicious pancakes. when we got back in the car, i asked again.
"ross, is something the matter?"
i looked up at him and he looked back at me in a way i had never seen him look at anyone. before i knew what was even going on, ross was on top of me, our lips moving in synch of each others. it was one of the most passionate make out sessions i have ever had. when we pulled apart, he got up and just sat there looking at me with this lust.
i rolled down the window and threw the paper with the waiters number in it out of it.
"guess i won't be needing this." i stated, looking over at ross smiling.
he leaned in again and the sparks were real.
few years later, and i still feel that way every time he kisses me.a/n- hope you enjoyed the second chapter!!favorite and comment please!! 💗
