bella's POV today is the last day of junior year and i was so pumped to be a senior in three months. today everyone was smiling and signing yearbooks, but mostly everyone was excited for the rager. the best part? it was at my best friends house, so i got a key to all the locked rooms and got to stay the night.
speak of the devil.
"hey ross!" i said as he aproached my car.
"hey bella. you ready for the partayy?" he said, pumping his fists in the air.
"oh you know it lynch." we laughed and drove back to his house where i am going to help him set up. ross's parents are on vacation and the rest of his siblings are all in for the party so we don't have to really worry about getting in trouble. i walk into the door and am imediatly greeted by rocky. he hugged me tightly. "BELLA!! its been so long since i'v seen you!! i thought you died." he laughed whole heartedly.
"rocky its been 3 hours... you saw me in AP chem." "ohh right." he chuckled and went into the kitchen to look for some food.
"okay," ross said, "gus and ryland just went out to get food for the party and riker is of age so he's going to go get all the liquor."
"great! what do we need to do?" "just clean up i guess." ross shrugged and connected his phone to a speaker. him, rocky, and me completely jammed as we cleaned up the house. around an hour later gus and ryland came through with some grocery bags. "theres a lot more in the truck guys." ryland said as we all rushed out of the door to help. i spotted gus out of the corner of my eye. only ross knows this but i have had a tiny crush on gus for a few months now... hes supper sweet and very funny.

gus smiled at me and i returned it. he handed me a few grocery bags and began small conversation. "hey bella. long time no see." he looked down at me as he shut the trunk. by now all of the other helpers had made their way inside. "yeah, are you coming to the party tonight."
i mentally slapped myself. of coarse he was coming to the party.
"yes i am." he said letting out a small chuckle. i blushed. "can i ask you something?"
i was getting nervous. "yeah of coarse."
"do you and ross have a thing?"
WHAT
"what? no! why would you even think that?"
"you two are just always around each other, cuddling and going places. i dunno just seemed logical."
"no no. ross and i are just really good friends trust me."
"good." he winked and walked ahead of me into the kitchen. my face turned a firetruck red. i didn't want the boys to see me like this so i yelled that i was going home to get ready and i would be back in around an hour. i went home and changed into the outfit i had picked out last night. i really hoped rydel would be at their house when i went back. i needed to have girl talk about gus.
