Why are you so nice to me?

Chapter 5

I woke up with a massive headache. I tried to move but I just cant so I just gave up and just lay back down.

I saw my arm wrapped in a bandage. I looked at my surroundings and I was like in a bunk. WAIT a bunk?!?.

I stood up and open the curtains that was covering me. Wait isn't this Connor's bus. SHIT. I walked to the front and saw that nobody was in here. I walked in the front door and I heard screaming outside the bus. I looked out the window and saw Riley and Connor having an argument.

I was supposed to go back when I heard the door open and Connor went in, his face was red probably with frustration. His face softened when he saw me and he smiled at me.

" Ella finally you're awake."

"How long have I been asleep?"

"maybe two hours"

"Two hours?"

"Yup two hours"

He looked at my bandaged hand and frowned at me.

"Why did you do that" He spoke quietly

"I...I...ummm its none of your concern Connor."

"Ella" he sighed and was supposed to walk away when I pulled his arm.

"Im So Sorry Connor."

After I said that, He hugged me. He hugged me so tight that I cant breathe anymore.

"Do you want to talk about it"

"Connor thanks but I don't think Im ready to tell you."

"Its fine Ella but promise me that you would let me help you okay"

"Connor why are you so nice to me? I mean we met this morning only and you saw my flaws. Now you know that I cut and you still helped me. Why Connor? I don't deserve your help. I don't deserve anyones help." tears are already running in my cheeks and he wiped them away.

"Ella you deserves someones help. I can help you get through your problems and I will get you through it. Just be with me and you'll be safe."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him.

" Connor Thank you so much but you cant do that"

He pulled back and looked directly into my eyes.

"Why? I can do everything for you I will be your friend."

"Connor I know but you have your own life.I have my own life, and you don't know me, my past."

"Then tell me, I promise I wont judge you"

"Thank you Connor but I just cant"

I ran back to the bunk and gathered my stuff and walked back to their lounge. I saw Connor standing exactly where he is but he was talking to Riley.

Riley saw me and nudged Connor.

"Ella please"

I hugged him and kissed him in the cheek.

"Im so so Sorry"

"Ella"

"Shh Thank you Connor"

I looked at Riley and nod at him.

I went out of the bus and walked to my car. It was probably past midnight.

I decided to go to Starbucks for a drink. When I arrived the store was almost empty, except for two guys at the back.I ordered my usual and sat near the window. I sat there the whole night reflecting on how my life was such a failure, and how that simple letter changed my whole life.
