The only thing left..

Donatello's dead.

Michaelangelo slowly hopped down into an ally way. He followed the Sent of death which soon led him to part of the docks. He jumped down, making sure that he was alone, and continued to follow it. He stopped when it led him to a dumpster. Hesitantly, Michaelangelo opened it up. That's when he saw it.

A large shell lay in the dumpster. No body, besides bones covered half way in rotting green flesh. Right beside the shell lay a note, luckly it was fairly readable.

MichElanhelos eyes widened at the sight. It was no doubt about it, Donatello. "...Donnie....." He hopelessly said in a low tone. Tears formed in his eyes.. Who could have done this to him? Why would they do this to him?.. It wasn't fair! None of it was! After all of this time searching all he could find was a shell and Donatello's rotting body! "...what am I going to tell the others..." He said through the heavy sobs. He hadn't realized it before but he was crying, he missed Donatello. All he wanted to do was find him, not dead, but alive.

Slowly he went to pick up Donatello's body and walked down the dock into an ally once more. He needed proof at the very least.. With a single jump he landed into the sewers and sniffled. "..I'm so sorry Donnie..."

After a while he had reached the lair. He walked through the empty living room with tears still in his eyes. As he entered the dojo he saw Leonardo meditating, trying his best to clear his mind. "...I found your proof Leo. Your right! He's gone! He's dead! And we didn't stop it..." He almost yelled as he tossed the body down in front of Leonardo. He then broke down in tears and ran out and up to his room crying.

Left behind was the note that Michaelangelo did not see, for his tears had made his vision blurry.
It read;
" dear turtles, if you do not surrender then this is what Donatello will look like! Meet me in Central Park on the 24th. Whichever month it is for I am not sure when you will find this decoy. You have three years from when he first went missing. If you fail to show up, I will have him hanged. ~Karai"
