[ Saturday Morning]

The car ride was going smooth as his father was driving. Francisco was asleep as his soft snores sounded my way. His mom was on the phone with the restaurant manager as she was filling them in on details before our arrival.

Francisco eyes opened up as he was starring at me. He slightly smiled wiping the drool from his lips as I silently chuckled. "Finally" he spoke looking out the window as we were coming to a stop.

"Why are they just now putting the sign up" his mom yelled out before she started speaking in Spanish as she got out the car. "You're about to hear a lot of that, if it's not her way it's no way" Francisco implied as I stepped out the car.

Walking to his side standing next to him as we observed the restaurant. "Nice right?" He asked as we approached the door walking in. "Y'all own this, my God" I mumbled out looking at everything that surrounded me.

"This is really nice Francisco, I wouldn't have though y'all was loaded like this" I mumbled as he laughed. "You're the first to know, I just don't want to be used, but I know you've never been in it for the money, plus you guys have a nice house too and your parents are doctors so yeah" he said as we walked the restaurant.

The door opened as a group of people walked in. His mom sat them all down in front of the stage as he sat in the back listing. She handed them  handbooks as she went through them.

She spoke about the grand opening that's happening tomorrow and expected guest that will be making appearances. She asked for the bartender to make sample drinks of everything on the menu as she requested for the chiefs to cook sample meals to try before the grand opening.

"I'm glad you came" Francisco spoke as I turned my head towards him. He leaned his head against the wall gazing into my eyes as the sun shined down on his face. "Wouldn't ask to be anywhere else" I mumbled with a smile.

"Meet me by the car" he mumbled getting up walking towards his dad. I didn't what he asked me to do as I stood outside waiting for him to walk out. The door opened as he had the keys in his hand.

"Do you trust me?" He asked as he had one hand behind is back. "Yeah" I chuckled as he asked for me to turn around and close my eyes. I thought about it first as I slowly turned around. I felt something warm cover my eyes. "Walk slowly" he said guiding me to the passenger side of the car.

"Where are you taking me" I chuckled as I heard the engine being started. My body jerked back into my seat as he was pulling away. "It's a surprise" he laughed as I sat back in my seat. My stomach was knotting up from the nervousness that was covering me.

Within twenty minutes the truck was coming to a stop. I could hear the keys in his hand jingling as his door closed. Mine open soon after as he guided me down. He removed the wrap as we stood between two buildings.

He knew I was confused as he giggled. "Follow me" he spoke as we walked down. "We're just in time" he said as he stepped on a boat. One of the assistants guided us to take any seat as I was blushing in the inside.

"You didn't have to do this" I smiled as leaned into my shoulder. "There's something better at the end too" he winked before the boat started moving. The sight of everything brought joy to us both. The lights, bright colors, beautiful paint that covered the buildings and restaurants.

The historical facts about the board walk intreated us both as we crossed under several bridges. He boat slowly came to a stop as everyone started to exit. Francisco hands cuffed my lower back as I was stepping off. "Follow me" he softly spoke holding a restaurant gate open for me.

There was a reserved table set as he spoke to two guys. We sat at he smiled at me hard, "why are you being so sweet to me?" I mumbled as a girl approached up with a pitcher of water and lemonade. She sat them both down after pour us a glass of each.

"Just like to see you smile that's all" he mumbled as I took in the surrounding image and beauty. "I've never had anyone do this for me before" he smiled again sucking from his straw. "You've clearly been dating the wrong people. We all deserve to be treated with love and care" he spoke as a woman came sat a platter in front of us.

Jordan once told me if you just live in the moment things tend to have a better outcome. The past can never be changed and the future can never be predicted. With Francisco, every second of the day had meaning, and being in his presence was worthwhile.

Time became timeless as the sun had finally fallen from the sky. The Orange and yellow skyline scattered the sky fading the clouds. Our conversation was endless, a dull moment didn't exist with him.

Wiping my mouth as one of the waitress cleared the table. He left the amount including a tip as we got up from the table. "Don't we have to get back to your parents?" I asked as he chuckled. Shaking his head as he grabbed my finger pulling me the opposite way.

"They will uber to the car, and bring it to the hotel" he mumbled as we walked down the board walk. "You know I was a little taking back when you told me you were a virgin" he softly spoke as we walked beside each other.

"I-I noticed that from the expression on your face that night" nervously giggling as he looked at me. "I'm glad you told me" he paused stopping me. "I can't be that guy" he mumbled looking at me as my mood was slowly shifting.

"Look at me" he pulling my head towards him. "I can't be that guy without being your boyfriend first, that's special, and it means a lot you were willing to let me become that one for you" he said moving closer to me.

"Sooo what are you saying?" I asked as he smiled at me. "Come here" he softly spoke with his hand out. He held my hand as we walked on top of the bridge. Letting my hand go as he pulled a lock out his pocket.

I watched as he stuck the key in unlatching it. "This lock holds both of our initials, meaning the love and bond we will share forever. Cameron would you accept this as a symbol of my dedication to love and support you, through thick and thin" he smiled laughing.

"If yes is your answer lock this onto the bridge, if no is your answer, just push the lock back in" he spoke putting it in my hand. Seemed as my heart was skipping beats as my palms became sweaty.

He watched my every move as I searched for a section on the bridge, locking the lock onto the medal thread looking back at him. "I would like to see where this go" I softly spoke walking back up to him. "Would you like to do the honor?" He question giving me the key as I threw it into the bay.

"You know this is super gay right?" I asked as we both burst out in laughter.

"The night is just starting, so save that comment" he winked walking off.
