"Hi, thanks for seeing me on such short notice." I hugged Mark.

"Well I've always got time for you. What's so important?"

"We need to talk about Dameon." I sighed.

"Did he piss Alexander off again? We spoke about that." Mark frowned.

"No, not this time. I was wondering, do you by any chance know who his mate is?"

A year ago speaking of his mate would've pained me, but honestly I feel nothing for him, but friendship. I guess it must be the fact that I'm mated to Alex now.

"Yes, well they met at one of my parties." Mark sat back in his office chair. "Why?"

"I'm trying to find her."

"Why? She isn't interested in Dameon." Mark pointed out.

"So I've heard, but there has to be a reason. I mean how could you not be interested in your mate. Alex was an complete dick to me and I still wanted him?"

"Well it happens. I don't know why, because a wolf can't mate with someone other than their real mate, well accept for you, and can't have pups either. But I do know that it happens."

"Who is she?"

"She's the daughter of Alpha Logan. He's the Alpha of the Slaughter Pack. I think her name is Cassandra."

"Ugh, who calls their pack the Slaughter pack?" I laughed.

"The name was given to them by other packs. It's because they are known to be cruel. A few years ago the Alpha slaughtered some of his own pack members." Mark showed me a sheet of paper.

"I always wondered, Dameon is a part of your pack, but he doesn't live with the pack. Why is that?" I asked.

"Because he doesn't really live like one of us. He has more human tendencies that Werewolf." Mark sighed. "How'd Dameon take the marriage thing?"

"Good, I could see it hurt him, but he cares to much about my happiness than his own."

"He's your mate, Alexander I mean, we all understand that."

"I'm adopting you as my new father. Your slightly young but the position is open." I laughed.

"Well I love you like a daughter so where do I sign up?" Mark smiled.

"Well I have to get going. I have a alpha's daughter to find." I hugged Mark.

"So you arranged it?" I asked Alex.

"Yes. We're leaving at 8 tomorrow morning. I'm going to take a shower. You want to join." Alex kissed my cheek.
