Josephine's PoV:

"Hello Big Bro.., It's been five years.. Can we talk for a moment?.."

"W-What?? I mean, ehem. Sure. What's this all about? Usually, you would use the video call on Skype but you, leaving your room?!? This must be important."

I nod a little and brushed my hair from the side.

"It's about mother."

"Ahh, I see. What is it?"

"Well you see."

I explained everything as best as I could. I could see Jay nodding and listens to anything else that would explain things that are too messy like why leave the room now and such. I tried to shift my gaze away from him but it seems like I can't talk to him about this without looking at him straight in the eye. Of course, I felt uncomfortable. It's been 5 years and then randomly, I just showed up and was like, "Hey, I'm back. Wanna talk about my dead mother?"

Anyway, after my explanation, he seemed to agree with me.

"Hmm.. Is this what you want sis?"

"Yes, this is what I want. For mother..."

I tried to hold back my tears. Talking about mom was a touchy subject. I couldn't talk about it without curling into a ball and start crying. But I held it this time. Just a little bit.

"You okay Josephine?"

"I-'n fine." I lied.

"Anyway, its been years since I last saw you draw. You said that you will never draw again for a long time."

"I did. Until I saw people drawing online. It seemed fun so I tried it myself. I enjoyed it so I got back to drawing pretty much one month after I lost confidence. After I lost...."

"Shhh... it's okay Josephine. Everything is going to be okay."

"I know, I know. It's just.. Hard to talk about it. It feels like she was just here. Smiling and laughing with me yesterday."

"I know how you feel sis. Take your time."

"No, no. I'm a big girl now. I got this Brother."

"Okay. I trust you sis. You can do this!"

"You're right. I can do this. For me an my mother."

"That's the spirit sis. Now go in there and do what you think is right."

"I will, thanks Bro." I kissed him on the cheek and ran towards my room, happily as I'm about to change my life.

Jay's PoV:

Well, after seeing Josephine outside her room for once, I figured I might as well make something special while she does her thing.

Hmm.. What to make.. I thought this day would never come for a long time. I was very wrong about that. Should I make Chicken Salad for dinner or just a normal dinner?

Oh, I know. I'll make her favourite food with her mom's recipe, Omurice with a side of salad dressing. It should motivate her enough to continue this decision.

I walked over to the kitchen and started to prepare dinner. At 4pm in the afternoon... I haven't realized that it's not even 6pm yet.
