"You sure you want to check?"
"Yeah, come on. This shouldn't be too hard, it is only the first night."

They both walked into the kitchen, leaving their heartfelt talk and condolences behind them in the living room. When they walked in they didn't know what they were expecting, but it certainly wasn't what they saw.

In the kitchen stood a person, it had the figure of a woman. It didn't look human though, the thing was completely yellow and  had bright makeup on; heavy eyeliner and and cherry red blush splotched on in two big patches on either side of her face. There were patches of skin missing, and in their place were assorted colors of wires, some broken and burnt but most were connected under the skin and to another patch. The broken wires shot out sparks of electricity. Her outfit was simple: a yellow sundress. It matched her skin perfectly but didn't give off too much of a sunny vibe. There was also a white bib over the top of the dress, it wasn't too childish and actually completed her outfit. The bib read "let's party!"

The lady/thing was spinning in circles, casually picking up whatever was near her and chucking it in any direction. Knives and fine China, spoons and tea essentials. A plate flew in Phil's direction and Dan quickly pulled him out of the way and behind him. They both stumbled a bit but retreated to the hallway.

"Dan! What do we do?"
"I suppose we watch her, right? Stay here and make sure she doesn't move."

"It's cake time!"

"Stay here?! Are you mad?"
"We do have to survive the night, Phil. We're the camera, and Jason is using us to watch. Jason told us the plot, we're the story. We have to stay here or she moves and finds us. She hasn't seen us yet, I don't think, she would be out here following us if she had."
"Ok. Yeah, I suppose that's right. Wow, she's a dangerous chick."
"Chick... Chicka! That's who she is, Chicka! She's the one with the stupid cupcake thing. Phil, you're a genius."

Phil shrugged and blushed at Dans comment. Dan smiled back at him and yanked Phil into the kitchen. They both ducked behind the counter and peaked their heads out to watch the anamatronic. They watched her for a solid ten minutes, ducking behind the counter each time she threw something sharp in their direction.Dan whispered something into Phil's ear and when Phil nodded obediently, Dan ran to the other side of the kitchen.

"I know where everything is, it is my house after all. Mum was always a bit keen on keeping an emergency kit under the cabinet. If this fool really had known everything, then he should know to have put it there. In it will be a... One of those clicker things. It'll shut off any electronic device in a twenty foot radius. I hope it'll work."

Phil was still a bit skeptical about Dan's idea. He sat on the other side of the kitchen and watched Dan search for the bag under the cabinet. If all went well Phil was to stand up and catch her attention, but sit again quickly so she didn't hit him. If it didn't go well and something happened, Phil was to rush up to Chicka and stab her with a pair of kitchen scissors. Either way he was putting his life in danger, but Dan was the one who was doing something sketchy. If he didn't go through with the plan he might end up hurt and that would mean starting all over.

"Hey... Is it there?"
"Yes! It is, I didn't think I would ever say this, but thank you Jason. Ok, Phil, you know what to do. Stand up and say something."

Phil started to get up but fell onto his knees instead. That noise itself stopped Chicka and made her start to walk over to him. Phil started shaking, scared Dan wouldn't succeed and he would die. As if to answer him, Dan leapt up and aimed the remote at the anamatronic. He pressed the button at the top and closed his eyes.

Nothing happened.

"Dan... It didn't work! Did you turn it on?"
"There's no batteries in it! Mum would have never left it without! Jason knew..."
"Can you curse Jason later and focus on not letting her reach me?"
