"Travis!!"
"Maddie!!"
Lina couldn't help but smile as the two lovers finally reunited.
You see, after Jake had gotten Troy to completely calm down, he forced him to take Maddison and Lina to where Travis was being kept. Turns out they had made him get in pit on the ground where they had been forcing him to kill a herd of the dead. Needless to say, once they found Travis he looked like he had gone through hell and back, but everything he had gone through really just seemed to go away though once her Aunt Maddie and him embraced each other, which was why Lina found herself smiling at the two.
They had all gone through so much together as a group. They had lost Betty and Chris, gotten kicked out of so many safe places they could have stayed at, they got separated from Strand and the Salazars, Nick abandoned the group, and they had almost died so many times she couldn't even count them in her hands any more. However as she watched the two of them caring so much for the other, still having faith they would find each other every time they get separated, it gave Lina hope. Hope that they would find Nick, hope that they would all be together again and find a place to settle down and just make it. It just gave her hope for the future, really.
And it seemed that her wish would come true as well, as once Travis let go of Maddison he gave them the best news they had heard since the world had came to an end.
"Maddie, I found Nick. He's alive and he is here."
Both Lina and her aunt smiled this time, their faces filling with relief at the news.
"Where is he now?" Maddison then asked him.
However before Travis could say anything another group of soldiers showed up out of nowhere carrying about three people, two in the back who seemed to be putting up a fight, and someone upfront who just happened to be Alicia. And once she spotted them, she immediately yelled out for Maddison before bolting towards the three of them and hugging both her and Lina.
Then to make things better, all of the sudden one of the soldiers who had been struggling to keep the still the two people at the very back pushed one of them forward into the ground in front of them, and Lina could't help but squeal in happiness as they saw who it was.
"NICK!" Both the Clarks and Travis exclaimed happily as they saw him get up from the ground. Once Nick realized who they were he smiled too, running towards Maddison and giving her a hug. Alicia and Lina then waited a bit to the side before Nick turned to them too and motioned for them to join in on the hug as well.
"N-nick, y-you're ok-ay! Y-you'rre he-re! O-oh my God, N-nick..." Lina said, squeezing him harder as they all hugged, and literally starting to cried out of happiness, which in return made Nick chuckle a bit.
"It really wouldn't be a Clark family moment if you didn't cry at some point, Linnie." He told her which made them all smile. "It really is nice too see that some things never change, you crybaby."
However, after a few more moments of group hug Nick pulled away explaining that his friend, the other person who the soldiers where still carrying, needed medical attention immediately.
It was then that Jake, who Lina had completely forgotten was there because of all the excitement, stepped up and promised to help once again. He asked three of his soldiers, a young blonde girl and two older looking guys, to help carry Nick's friend, Luciana, towards a nearby tent and give her some basic first aid. The tree soldiers nodded and immediately set out to do what he had asked them to, the two guys picking up and carrying Luciana while the blonde girl explained to Nick and Alicia, who had decided to tag along, where they where taking her. Lina was about to follow them too but stopped when she realized Maddison and Travis weren't coming.
