It was the night of the performance. I had high hopes of the dance but I was scared about performing in front of 100s of people. Me and Dan were matching; wearing a black jumpsuit and light up black shoes. I didn't care much about my hair but knowing it would get in the way of my dancing ( I really have to go for a trim! It's so long!) I put it up in a neat bun.
"You nervous?" Danny asked me. I could tell he was. His hands were shaking a lot and he couldn't stand still.
"Um..yeah" I confessed.
"Same. We'll do fine. I hope" He said patting me on the back.
"Do you think they'll like the...Special surprise we added?" He asked.
"Hope so" I said looking down.
"The pressure is real; having known that all of the others are depending on us to win this money," I said whilst fiddling with my fingers.
"True, We just have to try our best!" He said and high fived me.
After, I went back to the dressing room just to check that I'm still not a horrible mess.
Makeup good, hair is still bad, the outfit is cool...I guess everything is okay.
"And you are?" This girl asked me.
"Why do you ask?" I asked confused.
"No particular reason. Just checking that your pride ain't taking over you. Don't want you to be crying when we destroy you!" She said and she and her friends started cackling.
She was a tall brunette. Quite pretty indeed. Her hair was done up in a bun as well, but she had gorgeous flowers in them. To her left, this girl was definitely not as pretty but she wasn't ugly. She had a jet black hair and had long hair up to her waist (dip-dyed purple). The right girl was a pretty Vietnamese or Japanese girl with a black short bob. Definitely a wig. I could tell she was the least confident of the three. She tried her hardest not to make eye contact with me.
The tall one was wearing a short pink sparkly dress, Ms purple was wearing purple and the short bob one was wearing green ( all sparkly ).
"Luna! Do my lips again you didn't add enough layers!" The tall one ordered and she quickly did the deed.
"I didn't catch your name," I said still confused about this whole situation.
"Chloe" The tall one said confidently.
"I'm Alice" The purple obsessed girl said.
"L-Lunafreya" The Bob girl said. Yep, she is definitely Japanese. Her eyes were beautiful and she had healthy skin. She seemed way too nice to hang out with these two.
"Listen. Our singing will out beat whatever you're doing, any day so back off okay!" Chloe said and berthed after.
"Trust me. You don't want to try me bitch" I said eyeing all three of them.
Just when Alice was going to fire back, Danny came up to me.
"Chelsea! They are here! Mike and them lot!" He said happily and took my arm to them.
As soon as I saw Liam and ran and jumped on him.
"I missed you!" I said hugging him. For a minute I forgot we weren't together anymore so I hastily got off of him, not daring to look at him again.
"When you coming up?" He asked.
"We're the last act," I said, eyes still glued to the ground.
"Well, we were the last to enter," Mike said and ruffled my hair messing up my bun. Took me 10 minutes to do that!
