I woke up in a different cell. This cell was more like a room for royalty, though. There were elegant dressers, artfully crafted windowsills, silky bed sheets, and soft, fluffy beds. I realized five other people were groggily waking up in their beds, as well.

'Urgh. What's going on?" I asked. "And who are you?" I looked around the room and saw that everyone had their own dresser, their own window, and their own bed.

The first to answer was a redheaded, chipmunk-faced girl. She seemed to be around seventeen years old. "I have no Idea what's going on. I'm guessing you guys don't know anything, either. I do know that Seeker wants to use our powers. He said that he's good, but I don't believe him. There's something off about him. I'm Aidan, by the way. And my bane is fire. It terrifies the life out of me. My family died in my house. It was on fire, but the firemen saved me. Anyone else?" She seemed intrigued to learn more by the way she hung onto her last word.

The next to speak up was a younger boy who had black hair. I couldn't see his face because his long, flowing hair covered half of him, but he had olive colored skin and seemed to have come from an Oriental family. He had various tattoos over his body, consisting of ravens, skulls, and crosses. He was obviously a Goth. "Ugh. Whatever. I don't have anything better to do anyway. I lived on the streets, and I consider this a major upgrade. I'll tell you my name once, and I won't repeat myself. Got it?" We nodded rapidly. “You can call me Darcel, for your convenience."  He flopped back down on his bed and sighed. He obviously didn't want to reveal anything else, and seemed pretty bored.

He'll be no help whatsoever. The next girl had long, straight dishwater blond hair and bright green eyes. She seemed no older than nine years old. "I-I'm scared and I don't know if this'll help, but if you think that sharing will, then I'm all for it.  My name is Aloe. I'm terrified of plants. Especially big ones with thorns. My mom died when I was born, and my dad died in the jungle. One of Seeker's men took me from my orphanage and I was excited, because I thought I was going to be adopted. But now I'm really, really scared." She burst into tears. Aidan went over to her bed and hugged her.

"It's okay, sweetie. We're all scared, but we'll figure something out." She said soothingly.

The last boy was your average teenager. He seemed vaguely familiar. At around nineteen years old, he had medium- length, brown hair. He had light brown eyes and had large muscles. He was good looking, and any other girl would fall for him the moment they gazed at him. "Hey, my name's Peter. My sob story is that once I was born, my family dropped me off at the orphanage anonymously. I was never adopted, and I had to work for my own survival. Even if that job was at McDonald's." Then I recognized him

"Hey! You're that guy who busted me for sleeping in the dumpster!" I almost died from laughter. "I got quality food from that place!" Everyone in the room erupted into laughter, including Darcel.

The last girl was... Aquaria! Her face was covered in bruises and was swollen from when she was beaten. I finally got a closer look at her. She was around the age of fifteen. She had light blue highlights in her dark brown hair. She's one of the girls you could picture dating Peter... minus the bruises. A person everyone would envy for her beautiful hair and curves. “HI. My name's Aquaria. My family drowned when they were scuba diving. I've always been scared of water since."

It was my turn. Everyone was looking at me, except Darcel. I could imagine describing myself.  Long, wavy light blond hair, Eye colors that vary from yellow to orange to red, to clear, depending on my mood.  I was fairly tall, for a sixteen year old. I was 6'0". "Hey. My name is Ashni, and my family died from an electrical problem. I guess I died, too, but the doctors revived me. I've had problems ever touching lamps, buttons, or any other electronic." I paused. " We need to stick together. Even you, Darcel. We're going to get though whatever Seeker has planned for us, do whatever he wants us to do, and then we're going to escape, got it? Just go with whatever he wants, even if you’re terrified. Alright?"

Aloe was the first to speak. "I vote Ashni leader!" Instantly, the brief moment of fear passed and we chuckled.

"Alright! First we figure out where we are." I walked over to the window and I gasped.
