Prologue; I watched as my best friend Tegan shot the basketball. The time was ticking away slowly as the clock neared the end. The ball swished, falling through the net. I stood up and cheered with the rest of the crowd. I smiled laughing as him and his buddies chest bumped eachother.
A while after the game, I stood waiting against one of the school's stone walls. I must've started to daydream, because I was startled by the soft tapping on my right shoulder.
"Spencer! Spence! We won!" He exclaimed, grinning.
"Ahh! What?" I said laughing. "We actually won?!" See, my school has never won a single game.
"Yes. We actually won!" He said. "Anyway, can I grab a ride with you? My mom has to work late and can't come get me."
"No problem, but first you have to put on some deodorant, cause you are not stinking up my car with your sweaty armpits." I said.
Tegan the reached down into his green duffle bag and pulled out his deodorant and applied some. "There you go your highness." He said laughing.
I just glared at him and mumbled a 'lets go'. We arrived at my car only a millisecond later. The ride was awkwardly silent, which was weird because Tegan was known for his big mouth, well not to be mean, I mean he likes to talk a lot. We arrived at his house a minute later.
He unbuckled his seatbelt, but didn't get out. He then paused, then turned to me.
"Spence? You'd be my f-friend n-no matter what right?" He said.
"You know that I would." I replied.
"O-Okay. Spence, I think t-that I-I might b-be g-gay."

Chapter One
Spencer's POV
I sighed as I pulled up to my new school. Why couldn't my family stay in one place? I really shouldn't be complaining, see my mom had gotten a promotion at a new branch of her job so we had to move. She did a lot for our family and I should be thankful for what she's sacrificed for us. But, this was my third school within the year. I swear people keep thinking that I'm a degenerate. Anyways, I'm getting off topic. I parked my green Fiat and got out. I slung my tan messenger bag over my shoulder and stepped out. I walked through the front doors of my new school and was instantly terrified. The halls were packed, kids were being slammed into lockers. I felt like I was frozen. I couldn't move a muscle. I literally had to force myself to enter.
In my pursuit of trying to find the.main office, I was constantly shoved, bumped into, and pushed down. It took me about fifteen minutes to find the office. When I arrived at the office, I walked up to the receptionist and said a polite hello.
"Hi, my name's Spencer. I'm the new transfer." I said.
"Oh, yes. Do you have your transcripts?" She asked with a warm smile.
I quickly opened my bag and pulled out a huge stack of folders.
"Ah, here you go." I said.
"Thank you, your locker number/schedule/and combination are on this sheet of paper."
"May I ask, how do you handle all of that," I asked.
She held up a bottle of Aspirin and I started cracking up.
I opened the door to leave the office when someone came running in crashing right into me, knocking me off my feet.
I quickly glanced up to see who it was, and I was mesmerized. He had piercing sea-green eyes, raven black hair and a slight tan.
He extended his hand out to me to try and pull me up. "I'm so sorry, I'm Tegan."
I took his hand and hoisted myself up. I stood there for what seemed to be an internity before I finally came to my senses. "Oh, I-I'm Spencer," I said barely louder than a whisper.
"Nice to meet you Spencer. Hey, your new here?" He asked curiously.
I nodded, tearing my eyes away from his gorgeous eyes to look at the clock.
"Do you know where room H249 is?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm heading there right now." He answered.
I followed him out of the office, a bit embarrassed that I fallen down. He led me up a flight of stairs and down a hallway to the third door on the left. I gulped and ran a hand through my strawberry blonde hair.
"Okay, lets go inside." He said.
All I did was nod. He opened the door and walked in, me following close behind.
"Mr. Emerson, where have you been?" The teacher asked.
"I was getting the new student, Spencer." He replied.
The teacher then turned to me with a smile on his face.
"Welcome, grab a seat wherever you like." He said.
I blushed a little and then sat down next to Tegan. He passed me a note; it read 'meet me after school and I'll show you around town :)'
