(Robin's POV)
After we found the Joker, we found Batgirl tied up in the middle of an empty warehouse.
She was struggling to get free.
"Batgirl!" I screamed when I saw her. After that, I heard the Joker laughing from somewhere in the warehouse.
"Ah. Boy Wonder. What a pleasant surprise." he said, taunting me. Then he came put of nowhere and walked up to Batgirl....and hit her!!! With a crow bar! In the head!! The impact made her fall to the ground. Batman and I tensed up.
"NO!!" I yelled and ran at Joker with my staff extended.
"Robin! Get Batgirl! I'll handle Joker." Batman ordered me as he threw bat-a-rangs at the Joker. I ran to her and she was still conscious thank God. I picked her up bridal style and carried her to the Batmobile. Once we got there, I put her in the front seat and buckled her in. Minutes later, Batman came out and pulled me aside.
"Robin, you're taking her. I've got to make sure that Joker gets to Arkam." he informed me. I nodded, walked over to Batgirl and told her the situation. She seemed happy to be coming with me back to Titans Tower. So when I went to hop on my bike, the most unexpected thing happened.
"Robin, can we talk?" she asked, looking at me with worry evident on her face.
"Sure." I simply replied. I leaned on my bike.
"Well, I was wondering if you'd like to go to the new Chinese food restaurant with me." She said, holding her arm in a nervous type of way. I chuckled at the notion.
"As a date?" I asked, waiting to see her reaction. I knew it was a date, but I found it fun to tease her. She went red at the question I asked and I kind of found it cute.
"Yes. Wait, no. As friends if you don't want it to be a date." She was so funny when she got nervous. And I had a feeling she would be like this during dinner, too.
BACK AT THE TOWER.....
( Cyborg's POV)
I really can't believe Robin would just leave like that. He should see how much he's putting Star through. Right now, she's sitting on the couch, thinking about if Robin's okay. Usually she's all happy and bubbly. Now she's just a blob sitting on the couch all depressed.
"Cyborg, can't you track his communicator?" Raven asked me, walking into the room. She was carrying one of her spell books. I guess she cared about the boy wonder.
"Good idea!" I don't know why I didn't think about that before. That's because Raven's the only one with brains at the moment.
"Cy, just do it! Star's sadness is bringing down my funk level!" Beast Boy complained. So I punched some keys on the computer and a small image of Robin's face popped up with a box next to it. In the box is the location of where he's at. Gotham? Why would he be in Gotham?
"Well I have an idea. Starfire, come with me." Raven announced, standing up. She walked
out and Starfire followed. I was still at the computer. I got the idea of calling Batman. So I did.
****CONVERSATION********
Cy-Hey have you seen Robin?
Bat-No, not since we kicked Joker's butt. Why?
Cy-Well we tracked his communicator to Gotham and thought he would be with you. He left without telling us.
Bat-I'll try and find him. In the meantime, watch out for him in Jump City.
Cy-Got it. Thanks.
****END OF CONVERSATION*********
"Okay. Batman doesn't know where Robin is either." I turned to Beast Boy. I sighed when I said this. That's when the doors slid open to reveal Raven and some blonde, gorgeous chick with pink streaks in her hair. She was wearing a light purple (almost lavender) spaghetti strap shirt with black parachute pants with many pockets.
"Whoa! Who's the total babe?" Beast Boy asked, looking at the blonde chick.
"That's Starfire. I just changed her appearance to psyke Robin out." Raven informed us.
