(Star's POV)

He left. Again. After he kissed me, I went to the roof and cried. That's all I could do. He was my heart, my life, my love. It was a little past 2 in the morning when I decided to head back in. I got inside and to my room. I looked out to the city and saw the bell tower. But there was someone there. The person moved out of site. I gave up looking at the person there. I went to bed and hoped that tomorrow would be better.

(Robin's POV)

When she went back inside, I gave up trying to see her. I went to my stuff and decided to head back to Gotham. Maybe everything would be better. I'll leave after I rest for a few hours. I went to my backpack and used as it as a pillow.

~A few hours later~

I woke up to an explosion noise. I walked over to the wall and saw that it was Joker. He was robbing a bank across the street. He ran into the middle of the street and did he famous cackle.

"Now let's see the Batman come after me now." he said, waiting for his goons. I wasted no time swinging down and getting ready to attack. That's when my old teams showed up. Batman and Batgirl pulled up in the Batmobile the same time the T-car did. One on each side of Joker so he was surrounded. He laughed loudly into the air. Starfire was at the head of the Titans. Joker grabbed her and pulled out a knife.

"Starfire!" the Titans, Batgirl, and Batman screamed in unison. The knife was held to her neck. I knew what Joker's plan was and I wasn't about to let him go through with it. I had to make myself known.

"Where's the Boy Wonder? Isn't he supposed to be protecting this girl? This is priceless. He left you!" Joker laughed. I saw the pain on Star's eyes and on her face. She loves me and I knew it. I hurt her deeply.

"Why do you care, you monster? You only want to hurt him!" Starfire yelled at Joker. He din't take it lightly. His hold on her got tighter. She winced at the pain. My eyes widened in worry.

"Let go of her, Joker! Now!" I yelled. I surprised both teams. I walked up to the group. Joker released Starfire, only to reach out for me. He caught my wrist.

"You need to learn some manners, boy! You don't order me around." Joker spat at me. He removed my glove he had a hold of. On my wrists were my scars. Some from when my past haunted me and some from the torture love threw at me. He caught a hold of my wrist again and swung me so I hit the wall of a building upside down and landing on my head when I hit the ground. The teams attacked Joker while Batgirl ran to me to make sure I was okay. She helped me get into an upright position.

"You alright?" she asked me. I nodded and went to get up, but she pushed me back down gently.

"Batgirl, this isn't funny." I growled at her. I glared at her, but to no avail. She didn't budge.

"Didn't say it was. But you're staying here. You don't need to get hurt any-" she said, but was interrupted by a gun shot. I got up, and ran to where it came from. I saw Joker getting in a car with his goons. They drove off.

"Robin, don't." Batman commanded. He knew what I wanted to do. And he knew why. Joker came to Jump City and he touched Starfire. You know what? No. I'm going after him. He's going behind bars.

"No. I'm going after him." I told them. I went to where I parked my bike. That's when the least likely person questioned me.

"Let me ask you this, Robin. As a team leader, is leaving your team the smart thing to do? Is going after that clown the smartest thing to do?" Starfire asked me. I turned to her and noticed she had a gun shot wound in her shoulder. But pain was not one of the emotions on her face. Hurt and determination were.
