Harry's POV

Her hands twitched at her sides when I asked her what had happened. Her silence made me go unease.

"You know I am trying to help you right," I said in a calm voice.

"I don't need your pity," she spat back.

"Look, Harry I'm going to head over to Ethan's hotel before he leaves, and I have to start going to school." She began to walk out the door, the worst set of fears sank into my stomach. For the past six years I have taken duty as older brother. Sure when we were young we didn't care but as soon as high school hit, I made sure to watch out for her. Even when our parents lived halfway around the world from each other because of Angela's job, I still Skyped her every night to make sure she was OK. When I went on the X Factor, tour, no matter what it was I watched out for her. She told me everything, at least she used to. Now it was time to go back to the defensive state. To protect her.

"No," I said as she grabbed her keys.

"And when did you start controlling me," she asked smartly.

"I don't but if your face ends up in the obituaries don't blame me," I replied.

"What do you mean," she asked.

"I mean," I said taking in a deep breath. "I mean Ethan isn't a good guy. I know neither of you will admit to having him hit you. But I still don;t trust him, plus how he treats you, what he calls you. It's not something any boyfriend, or any person should do Ev."

She sneered then ran out the door. I ran out the door and chased her and grabbed her arm.She screamed as soon as I touched her and pushed me away. She looked at me in fear.

"He hurt you didn't he," I asked quietly.

"I have to go," she whispered. Before I could stop her, she drove away in her car leaving me on the pavement.

Niall's POV

Harry called us telling us that Evelyn had taken off, again. Louis, Liam, Zayn and I drove around the entire city until we found her silver Toyota sitting on the side of the road.

"Let me talk to her alone," I told the guys. They nodded and I walked out the car door. Evelyn's car was parked in a empty parking lot. I walked to the divers side window and motioned for her to roll down the window.

"Guess Harry called, huh," she said half smiling.

"Yeah, he's ready to put a GPS in you," I replied laughing. She kept her head down picking at her finger nails.

We stayed silent for a while until Evelyn finally looked up at me and spoke. This was the first time she looked at me, I could now se the clearly visible bruises and scratches on her face. Her red, puffy eyes told me she had been crying.

She was broken and I needed to save her.

"I have to go see Ethan so, sorry for ditching you here," she said as she began to roll up her window.

"If I tell Harry something different and that you told me you went somewhere else, would you explain all of this to me Ev?"

She looked straight in my eyes, and this is how I knew she wasn't lying when she said, "OK."
