Evelyn's POV

So I'm expelled.

It took me three weeks and four days but I did it.

And I was happy.

I've been trying to get myself expelled since day one. I smiled as I packed my last bag but then I realized, I have no where to go.

The Mary Louise Academy was all I had.

Guess I could call my mom, oh wait, she hates me.

Maybe Harry?

No, I couldn't bring myself to call him in my time of desperation.

I had no other friends except Alexis.

Just then Alexis poked her head through the door. Alexis had a stocky build, a rich tan, long straight brown hair, and big brown eyes.

"Hey girly, you got a place to stay?" she asked half cheery half concerned.

I scoffed, "Does a motel count?"

She tossed a small key on my bed, "Well you do now."

She walked out of my room and I clutched the key tightly in my palm. I had a new home, but I needed a new school, and a new me.

The next after I had settled in Alexis's house I grabbed thirty dollars from my emergency cash and headed to the local drug store. After about twenty minutes I had reached the store. It wasn't that far from Alexis's house, took around ten minutes by car, but I still didn't have one, or a job.

I walked inside the store, grabbed a bottle of blonde hair dye, dark brown contacts, and a pair of scissors. Goodbye Evelyn Styles, hello Emma Charleston.

Charleston was my father's last name and I still count as part of my name. So I was going to use his last name as mine. As for the name Emma, I have no idea. I've just always liked the name.

Way better of a name then, Evelyn.

I paid for the door, scissors, contacts, and walked out of the store. When I reached the house I locked myself in the bathroom and cut my long, dark brown hair until it reached just below my ears. I grabbed the dye and studded the instructions carefully, I wanted my hair to be new and different, but still natural.

After my hair had been dyed and my contacts had been put in, I saw a new me.

One who wasn't going to be pushed around.

This was a new Evelyn, her name was Emma, and she was ready for anything.

I heard the doorbell ring and I jogged downstairs to see Ethan's face in front of mine.

"Guess we found each other again, huh Evelyn?" Ethan asked cockily.

"Of course darling, now we have unfinished business." He said as he entered the house, shutting the door behind him.

I wasn't prepared for this.

Niall's POV

I strolled down the sunny street in California looking for the address I had in hand.

The Dean at Evelyn's old school had given it to me when I said I was Evelyn's brother. A little lie couldn't hurt him.

I finally reached her house I took a deep breath and rang the door bell.

What would I say when she answered?

Hey Evelyn. I tracked you down like a complete stalker because I'm in love with you. What's up?

Yeah right.

The door opened and young girl around the age of seventeen poked her head out the door. She had short blonde hair that curled at the ends and she had deep chocolate brown eyes. She was lean, she had a light tan, and she was immaculate. I wonder what the rest of her looked like since all I can see is her head.

"Hi," I mumbled. "I'm looking for this girl named Evelyn, this is her address right?" The girl's eyes met mine and her mouth dropped open.

"Niall," the girl said in complete awe.

Wait, that voice, that face, those lips. It couldn't be.

Could it?

"Evelyn," I asked.

She nodded, tears began forming behind her eyes. She began to close the door but I put my hand in the way.

"Look, things have changed. The band broke up and I came here to find you. You said you would marry me when you were done with school." I was practically begging her.

She gave me another sorrowful look, she was no longer holding back her tears.

She was in a complete meltdown. I reached my hand out to wipe away a tear from her cheek.

"Things have changed here too Niall. If you knew, you would hate me." Evelyn said quietly.

"I could never hate you." I said sweetly. "And I don't care what happened, I still love you."

She pushed my hand away and stepped out fully from the door revealing her pregnant stomach. She hugged her hands around her stomach, completely embarrassed.

"I'm pregnant Niall, and it's Ethan's baby."
