We took off from Osaka to Nagoya via Shinkansen. The scene was filled with everything countryside — trees, plants, farms — you name it. All of us were seated in the middle part of the train, except that Shoko and I were seated separately from the rest. Nobody shared the seat in front of us, so it was basically just the two of us.
I felt a wave of relief hit me with those thoughts in mind as I saw Nishimiya happily staring outside the window (since she was seated close to the window side). It was a perfect day for a date.
"Shoya, look, look! It's all grassy fields and trees! I wish we could come to places like those with the rest of the group and camp overnight. It would be so fun!"
"Yeah, it really seems like it. But let's enjoy today's trip, since its our...... first official date, and all."
"I-I-I know, right?"
Actually, the trip was a leg-stretcher for all of us, since we think that we needed a break from all the stressful things. And asides from that, Shoko had her therapy session recently and surprisingly, she was able to properly hear via hearing aids and for almost the whole Saturday, I taught her the basics of speaking in tone. She still says things in monotone most of the time, but she's steadily improving. And as her "boyfriend", I feel happy about that miraculous news.
Especially that we could now be able to somehow properly convey what we want on this trip.

"The place is so beautiful! How'd you get these tickets in the first place, Auntie?"
"Oh, just a bonus given to me from work. I hope you guys enjoy your rooms!"
Me, Nishimiya, and Yuzuru shared one room, while the other two had their own rooms. After unpacking, the three of us explored the hotel. Asides from the lobby, we found a fancy swimming pool, complete with slides. AND YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT I LOVE SLIDES. There was also a gym area, a restaurant overlooking the central park close to our hotel (cherry blossoms trees filled the park with bliss) and shopping centers close to us.
"Hey, do you want to explore the park? I think I want to take pictures of the kois. I heard that they have colorful ones here."
"Alright Yuzuru, so that makes our first stop for today."
We all went to the pond; while me and Shoko's hands were locked together. The place was surrounded by many cherry blossom trees in a circular pattern so it made us feel like it was spring, thought it was almost winter. Not many people were present, so we could feel the peace around us as we do our business.

"Hey, Onii-san! Onee-chan! The fish are all flocking towards me, so I'm nearly out of bread! I think I'm going to buy some more!"
"Alright, Yuzuru. Stay safe! Let's just meet up here!"
"Alright!"
Well that was quite a breather for both of us. It's only just me and Shoko now. We walked around the park, taking note of where we should be going back.
"So, would you want to do anything else asides from roaming this park? We currently don't have plans at this time, anyway."
"I think we should eat. My tummy's craving for food."
At that time, I had to agree with her. I was only thinking of food as we strolled around. Such a good time to jinx my thoughts Shoko.

We decided to eat at a bit fancy restaurant. We sat outside, since we wanted to enjoy the ambiance of the surroundings. After a while, a waiter came to us in a...... butler uniform to give us the menu.
"Monsieur, Mademoiselle, please enjoy your time choosing. I hope you will enjoy your stay here. Bon appétit!
"A French restaurant." said the both of us as we laughed because we jinxed our thoughts.
She picked a soufflé while I picked a classic crepe to eat. I tried to start a conversation but to no avail. After 5 minutes of silence, I thought of the right question to ask.
"So, how does it feel now that you can speak a bit properly?"
"I-It feels quite nice. I don't need to sign my hands that often, and I can finally act like a normal person, just like you guys. I don't need to get embarrassed anymore to anybody, so it feels nice to actually achieve that kind of sensation."
"Well actually, it was not entirely your fault. Everybody shared their bad opinions, and it somehow just ended up like that. But now, everybody's mature enough to understand your position. Let's just enjoy our vacation now, babe."
"Yeah, I know Shoya."
And we both shared a kiss. My phone rang afterwards, and it was Mom telling me that we should come back to the hotel because we would be going somewhere else.
"Alright, let's find Yuzuru and head back to Mom."
"Alright, after I have some more coffee."
