AL ~Assassin League~

Chapter 1

*Knock Knock*

"Come in." The hidden person in the shadows said, behind his carved oak table that still had the fresh scent since it was carved this morning by the finest.

"Sir, I have some... news." The scrawny little man said trembling in fear of his Master as he slowly was shutting the large wooden doors.

"Judging by the means in your voice, I am taking it to be bad." The hidden man said loving the trembling of fear of his servant.

"Sir. The..... AL..... it is being reunited." The servant said trying to brace himself for anything that his Master could do.

"WHAT? Tell me everything! Now." The man said standing up and lying his fists against the table making the veins pop.

"Well, I heard they are going out to find the top men and women of Asmerath to be with them." The servant said this time a little more calmly since knowing his master wasn't going to throw anything at him. As you probably don't know, Asmerath is the so called "country" as you would call it. It is divided into 3 main cities, known as Redmont, Taloris, and Kalimar. On the outskirts of Asmerath and these cities is the Nervanian Forest, full of crooks, robbers, orcs, dark elves and evil men. They usually plundered innocent people that were moving to different countries or coming to Asmerath. But this man hidden in the shadows is a fully feared man by all, none ever speak his name. This once and this time only I shall, his name is Lord Zycolt. He is the one that leads the ragging wars between Nervanian Forest and all the cities, having the robbers, crooks, ocrs, dark elves and bad men on his side trying to win the war to take over Asmerath. Now you are also probably wondering what the AL is. Well it stands for The Assassin League and as you heard it was being reunited. The AL once did defeat the foes in Nervanian Forest but they just went back in and hid. Lord Zycolt is now trying to raise the perfect army to take the country for himself leaving the cities in ruins and people dead.

"Well then." Lord Zycolt said standing straight and walking towards the scrawny man revealing himself from the shadows showing his fine clothes and grey hair. But there is one particular thing that would catch your eye. The long scar leading down his face , from the AL founder and leader Alistair Redbolt. "Do you have any information on whom is so far chosen?" Zycolt said to the servant Lamair that started shaking when the master started towards him.

"I have a list, sir. Of four names to be exact" Lamair said. Lamair has been the servant ever sinced he killed his parents accidently and ran to the forest to get away. 2 orc guards of Zycolt, found him and Zycolt decided he needed a servant and if Lamair refused, the orcs could have him. And they do in fact eat people.

Zycolt looked at the paper revealing the names, Cerberus, Arabella, Argent, and Artemis, as well of there home cities. Cerberus being Taloris, Arabella being Kalimar and Argent and Artemis being at Redmont. Zycolt flooded with anger as he knew that the AL leader was originally from Redmont.

"Assemble a squad and BRING ME THESE PEOPLE!" Zycolt screamed leaving afraid Lamiar to run off to assemble some fighters.

As the scrawny servant ran off, Zycolt walked over to his mirror, and traced the outline of his scar from the blade that Alistair was holding. "I am going to kill your little assassins Alistair." Zycolt said to himself thinking of the plans he had for the sure to be new prisoners.
