Saving a boy

I ran through the woods not really caring if anyone saw me cause they wouldn't be able too since I run too fast for mortals to see. I smiled and jumped on a branch and kept jumping through branches. I don't know where I'm going but something led me here and if something led me here then I can't simply ignore it. I planned on scouting the whole woods but a noise stopped me and I looked down below to see a boy fighting a giant ant.

He looked so tired and powerless he didn't look like he'd survive partly cause if there's one ant there's another and just as I thought this three more ants arrived. He looked about ready to give up and I took pity.

I jumped on the first ant and it tried to get me off it's back since I startled it. It sprayed yellow goo on the others so they all got tangled. Then I grabbed my sword and sliced the ants killing them. I jumped off the dead ant and walked over to the boy and crouched down to his level.

"who-how-what-"

"are you okay?" I asked searching into his eyes and he nodded tiered

"yeah fine glad you showed up or I would have been ant food" I nodded

"probably" he nodded this time

"who are you? I haven't seen you at camp" he said eyeing my clothing, I wore bear fur to cover my chest and tied leopard fur around my waist so my stomach and legs were bare and I have no shoes

"no I do not go to, camp?" I asked and he nodded

"yeah camp half blood" he said and I gave him a look "if you don't know what that is then how come you're here?" he asked

"I don't know I felt like I needed to come here" he nodded thinking, I pulled him to his feet.

"whoa you're really..." he didn't finish and I didn't ask

We walked through the woods to the camp he keeps talking about and I searched alert for anything, I felt something and pulled my sword out. I focused to see my sword to the boy's throat

"uh hi?" he asked

"sorry" he nodded and I put my sword away and took out my spear since I had to have that in my hand

"nothing is going to hurt you here" he said and I raised an eyebrow

"then why were you almost killed by ants?" I asked and he nodded

"what's your name?" he asked finally

"Sandra" he nodded

"last name?" I shook my head and he nodded "well I'm Percy Jackson" I smiled and nodded "what?"

"nothing you have an interesting name" he gave me a look

"you're making fun aren't you?" he said and I shook my head

"doesn't matter to me what your name is" he thought about that and we made it to camp

It looked interesting to see a lava wall, arena, archers, target dummies, pegasus, and the gods' symbols on cabins. I cracked a smile till one looked at us and soon enough a lot of them were staring at us or well me. Chiron walked up to us and he smiled when he saw me and I smiled back.

"everyone go back to what you were doing" he ordered and they did but they kept glancing at us so Chiron took us to his office where Dionysus was playing cards.

"ah there you are" he said when he looked up at me "where have you been?" he asked and I said nothing and he sighed "fine"

"nice to see you again Sandra" Chiron said and I hugged him

"you too"

"wait what?" Percy asked

"Chiron we have- oh hey" a girl said and I got the impression she wanted to know everything

"I knew Chiron since I was born" I told Percy

"and she was never found again but I can see where you've been" he said eyeing my clothing and I chuckled

"nope I've been all over" he shrugged

"who are you?" the girl asked

"who are you?" I countered

"Annabeth Chase"

"Sandra" she nodded still confused and I could see she hated to be confused

"can you leave us I need to talk privately to Sandra" Chiron said and they walked away slowly "does Zeus know you're here?" he asked urgently and I shook my head "how did you get here?" he asked

"I had escaped years ago" he sighed

"why haven't I been told?" he asked and I shrugged

"I escaped and been living on my own avoiding the gods for they might put me in a cage again" I said and he nodded

"there's a reason to everything" I shook my head

"what reason could have made then put me in a cage since the beginning of my existence?" I asked and he gave me a look

"you know the reason" I sighed I was told I was too powerful to be out in the mortal world, I don't know who my parents are and I say mortals because living with gods makes you get their habits. I honestly don't know why I would be kept in a cage for so long I mean there's strong demigods out there and they take me?

"but I've grown tiered of it and sometimes wished there was something else but I have to do what I must to get away from Zeus" he nodded

"I will not tell him where you are but keep a low profile" I gave him a look

"what low profile? it's like making me have a low profile" Mr. D said and I laughed

"I'm not tamed" he grunted

"I can see that" I shrugged Chiron sighed

"stay here but you must not tell others who you are, what you are, or what powers you posses" I nodded "normal camper" what does me being a demigod could be so bad I mean the rest of them are and as for powers I haven't noticed anything that could get people worked up

"if I must" he nodded

"and I will keep you a secret-"

"from Annabeth" I teased and he nodded "I'll do what I can" he nodded

"now go to Percy and ask him to show you around" I nodded and I left to search for Percy and found him near the stables, I thought about what normal people would say

"hey Percy" I greeted and he jumped startled

"oh hey Sandra" I smiled

"oh Chiron wanted me to ask you to give me a tour" he nodded

"sure" he motioned for me to follow him

The camp was so cool and I got my schedule lets see how normal I could be.
