I thanked Mrs. O' Leary for catching me and she barked happily knowing she saved me from being crippled for the rest of eternity. I petted her and she wiggled her tail instead of jumping since her paws are broken and she looks about ready to pass out. I sighed and closed my eyes focusing on her life source, she suddenly sighed relaxed and when I opened my eyes she had fallen asleep. I raised my eyebrows but said nothing shaking my head smiling. I looked around headed to talk to Nico when a pair of lips crushed on top of mine.
My eyes widened but for some reason I knew it was Percy and I smiled. I kissed him back and he wrapped his arms around me so I followed his lead. When we pulled apart he hugged me to him and I did the same.
"so how are you?" I asked him and he buried his head in my hair the best he could since I am shorter than him
"better now than I've been in a long time" I smiled feeling so happy
"me too" I told him honestly "so what's with the kiss?" I asked him, he shrugged
"I couldn't control myself" I laughed lightly, he lifted his head and looked down at me with a cute smile and blush on his face "how are you alive?" he asked me quietly and I giggled
"Percy I am immortal" I reminded him "and Mrs. O' Leary helped me too" he smiled blushing more embarrassed
"I owe Nico an apology" he said and I raised an eyebrow questioningly
"what did you do?" I asked him
"I thought you died" I chuckled and pulled him closer to me
"you're one funny boy you know" he smiled at me "happy birthday Percy" he frowned confused for a second but I kissed his cheek "you're also clueless" he blushed and I laughed pulling him back to Olympus because no matter what Zeus asked demanded to talk to me.
I stood in front of the gods holding Percy's hand but against my will... well...kind of. He wanted to assure me but I didn't want the gods to focus more on him because of it, and trust me they'll find a way to make us seem like a bad idea. I saw Poseidon eyeing our hands and I guess Percy did too cause he squeezed my hand. He smiled at me so I gave him a small smile back making him give me a look so I broke into a true smile. He nodded approving and I couldn't help but let out a little giggle.
"now it's time to address Percy's fate" Zeus said holding my heart by a thread
"what could there be to address I mean we won the fight of the ages!" Apollo exclaimed excited "this should be a time to celebrate" he said and I braced myself, they argued till...
"fine!" Zeus said knowing the gods agree to it "so we must give him a gift but before you say which I think I know for who wouldn't want it" he said "to be one of the gods" he announced, I stared shocked and Percy looked at me immortal?
"now lord Zeus" one of the fates interrupted Percy and I looked at her "you know that is not what you could give for this one" she continued
"true for he is immortal"
"trying to give him a wish he already owns is not the way" I stared at the tree ladies in confusion
"what do you mean a gift he already own?" I asked them and they smiled at me
"he is immortal because of you" I stared at them in confusion
"we will explain later but for now Percy may make another wish" one said and I tilted my head to the side but Percy rubbed my arm reassuringly, I nodded and turned back at Zeus.
Corina and Kain walked to my side wearing their armor and scars. I turned to them worried
