Chapter 7
Edwards POV (From when Alice, Bella, Jasper, and Emmett left)
I sat down on the couch with my head resting in the palms of my hands. I can't believe that was Bella. I should have never left her back in Forks. I'm such an asshole; I just wanted, no I needed her to be safe. She's right if I had stayed, Charlie would probably still be alive. Bella changed and I don't just mean into a vampire. My sweet, wouldn't hurt a fly Bella was far gone. She threw me around this damn house like I weighed nothing. She wasn't even a new born. Like what the hell was her power, crazy strength with the way she threw Emmett with one hand, I can't even do that, well at least not that far. She was so mad and to be completely truthful I don't blame her. I deserve every punch, hit, and body slam I got. I was in deep thought when Rose came and sat down next to me.
"I like her." She said.
"What?" I asked, cause I was not fully paying attention to her.
"I like the new Bella."
"Yeah, sure you do."
"No, really I do. Now that I think about it you were an ass for leaving her in Forks. I mean I know I was a bitch to her but she really looked hurt. Shit she's really, really strong; I never thought she could be like that."
"Yes Rose, that surprised me too."
"And man She kicked your ass." She laughed.
"Yeah, yeah Rose, and it was funny as shit when she back handed your ass through those walls over there." I smirked.
"Shut up Edward."
"Whatever Rose, can you just leave me the hell alone."
"Nope, did you see what she had on? Never in a billion years would I have thought she would wear something like that, she looked great." She said with a huge grin on her face.
"Can it, Rose; go find someone else to bother."
"Nope you are so much more fun, plus Alice, Jasper, and Emmett went with Bella."
"She let them go with her?" I asked.
"Well not exactly. When she told them to get out of her car no one moved, so she told them that they can run home and sped down the road. She drives faster than you Edward."
I laughed. "Bella, I highly doubt she drives that fast."
"Okay Edward, if you say so, we will see soon." Rose said
"Whatever" I said and put my head back into my hands.
"Rose, leave Edward alone." Esme said and sat next to me on the other side of the couch.
"How do you feel son?" Esme asked.
"Like how a person would feel after the person you love and left years ago came back and kick your ass." I said sarcastically.
"Oh, that bad." She said with understanding.
"She was really mad, did you see what she did to Emmett, I have never seen anyone able to throw him like that, and it looked like it took her no effort." Carlisle said as he sat down across from us.
"I know it was... it was... it was, just wow." I said.
"She seems to have been through a lot. But even through all that anger she just looked hurt." Esme said
She was about to continue talking when Alice, Jasper, Emmett, and Bella walked through the door and Emmett ran over to Rose and kissed her.
"Hey, Bella is going to wait for us to change then Jasper and I will ride to school with her okay." Alice said.
Everyone just shook their heads "yes".
"She looks like she calmed down." Esme and Carlisle thought at the same time.
I shook my head "yes" to them. I looked back at Bella and I saw rage in her eyes when they meet mine and I bowed my head in shame. I am such an asshole to have done what I did to her.
"Damn right you are." Bella said and Carlisle, Esme, and I looked at her.
"Did I say that out loud?" I asked myself in my head.
"No you did not say that out loud, you said it in your head." Bella answered my thoughts.
"You... you can read minds?" I asked and Carlisle and Esme stared at us.
"Yes among other things." She said with a smirk on her face, and when she did that it turned me on and all I wanted to do was throw...oh shit she heard that.
"Yes I did you're disgusting." She said with that cute ass smirk far gone from her face.
"I did not mean to think that. I was just..."
"Whatever." She said rolling her eyes at me. God I want her back.
