Chapter 15
"Bella you need to calm down." Jake said while he sat down on the couch.
"You can't expect me to be calm right now. I asked you guys a question and you all just gave me the look of death." I said almost losing every ounce of control I had.
"Your mother is fine." Sam said.
"Then what's with the faces."
"She is here in Forks; every few months she comes back and just stays in the house for a couple of days before she just leaves. Your sister stays with Phil in Florida whenever she is here. Emily drops off food when she's here otherwise I don't think she eats. Your mother and everyone else in town thinks that you had committed suicide—well everyone but us of course. I think she blames herself for not taking you with her after your father died." Jake said.
"Oh." I said looking down at my feet. "Did you try to talk to her Jake?"
"She won't let me talk to her. After your dad died, she told me to look after you and keep you safe. She only let Emily speak to her and even then she doesn't really say anything."
"I have to make this better." I muttered looking at my hands as they rested in my lap.
"And how do you plan to do that Bella?" Emily asked.
"While she is sleeping." I said.
"And what do you mean by that?" Seth asked.
"I will give her a dream of me. She needs closure. I will go over there tonight."
"Oh." Jake whispered.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"Seven fifteen." Seth said looking at his phone.
"Oh, I hadn't realized I'd been here that long. I need to call the Cullens and let them know that I am okay. They must think I went off to war due to how I left them. I will go to see my mom afterwards." I said to them.
"Okay. We will be here when you get back. Nessie will be here by then, just call us when you're on your way." Jake said
"I will be back soon. I don't want the Cullens to know that I'm in Forks, so I will talk outside and go over to the house."
