Samuels POV
It's been 2 years since Alexander came to the world and since Y/n and I have been dating and I think I'm ready, I just have to ask her Dad if I can take her away with me, I knock on the door and thankfully her Dad answers "hey Samuel" "hey, could I talk to you out here?" "Sure" he steps out and tells Mrs. Jessica he'll be out here and closes the door "what's up?" "Well I've been thinking about it lately, and I think I'm ready, but I need to know, are you ready to let her go and be taken away by another man that loves her the same way you love her?" "I've been expecting this" he's been expecting this? "You're gonna pop the question, aren't you?" "Yes I am" "you make her happy, that's all I want to see her be, if you make her happy then I'm fine with it" "thank you, I won't let you down" after I tell him my plan on how I'm going to ask her we say goodbye I go to the bus stop and wait for it to get there so I can go home, I call her "hey angel" "hey Sam" "could you meet me at the park at 11:30?" "Um sure" "gotta go, love you" "love you too" I hang up and take the bus home once I get home I run to my room, saying hello to my mom of course, I open my drawer and see the black box with the ring in it I already have my plan I'm so excited

"Hey" "hey, you're beautiful as usual" she giggles "so why'd you ask me to have a date so late at night?" "Because
tonight is special" we spend thirty minutes talking while having our picnic, I checked the time on my phone '12:00' it's time "hey angel, could you stand up and close your eyes for me?" "Sure" she does as said I get on one knee and grab the black box from my pocket "open them" she opens her eyes tears fall down her cheeks "Y/n we've been together for two years and taking care of Alexander I feel like I'm an actual father, and I want that to come true, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want us to become a family, so will you marry me?" "Yes" I slip the ring on her finger and kiss her
"Maybe I'll be fine" I laugh a little and we go back to the date
