Chapter 10 - Castle Tour

Tala's POV

I ended my admiring state short as I finally noticed the werewolves standing in the middle of the room. They all had warm smiles on their faces, making me feel welcome. But it didn't help me get rid of my shyness towards new people. What if they don't like me as much as Jonah likes me? What if they hate me?

Negative thoughts entered my head, when suddenly Jonah carefully dragged me towards the middle of the room, making me more nervous. As we walked closer to them, I noticed that 2 of the boys were the beta and gamma. But I don't know who the 3 girls are.

I stood infront of them while looking downwards and biting my lips, showing I'm nervous. "Don't be so shy Tala, we won't hurt you." One of the girls said, making me look up. I looked at the she-wolf talking to me, and she looks really beautiful, somehow similar to Jonah. "If we did, my brother would kill us." She continued while chuckling.

Brother? Does that mean that she's Jonah's sister? That's why they look alike. She had long and straight black hair, similar to Jonah's hair colour, but had green eyes instead of blue.

In reply, I just smiled at her. Maybe I should trust them? Jonah won't let them meet me if he didn't trust them. "Tala, as you could see this is my sister, Rose." Jonah said, pointing to Rose. "H-hello R-rose." I stuttered, earning another chuckle from her. "Hello to you too Tala." She replied, smiling to me. "By the way, I told them about you so they know your name. I hope that didn't bother you." Jonah said while looking at me. So that's why they know my name without me telling them. "It's okay Jonah." I replied smiling to him.

"Aww, so cute. It seemed like you made her trust you already Jonah." Another she-wolf said. Jonah and I blushed a little, making the werewolves chuckle. "But that is a good thing. By the way, my name is Evelyn, the best tracker in the royal pack." The she-wolf said while gently patting her chest proudly. She had braided blonde hair and a pair of brown eyes. She also looked really beautiful.

"Stop being so arrogant about your title Evelyn. I'm pretty sure Tala here doesn't care." Another she-wolf said. She had shoulder-length brown hair and dark brown eyes, and just like the three of them, she looks really beautiful. "My name is May, and I'm Liam's mate." May said proudly. I'm guessing that Liam is the beta, because I heard that the gamma's name was Ryan. I looked at Liam, and saw him blushing because of May. They are so cute!

"H-hi." I greeted her shyly. "This is Liam our beta." Jonah said to me, pointing at Liam. "Hey." Liam greeted. "And this is Ryan, our gamma." Jonah said again, pointing at Ryan. "Hey Tala! Remember me?" Ryan said to me. I just nodded since I did remember him.

"Anyway, Ryan, Evelyn, and I need to continue our patrol. So, see you guys later!" Liam said, waving at all of us. "Bye guys!" Evelyn and Ryan said together, also waving at us. Everyone alse including me waved their hands back at them.

When they finally left the room, Jonah suddenly spoke, "Anyway, can any of you give Tala a castle tour? I need to fill up the paperwork that I missed yesterday." "I really want to, but I can't. I want to visit.....you know who....." Rose said with a sad tone. I wonder who the werewolf is? I want to know, but I'm too afraid to ask. I also don't want to upset Rose even more, or she'll probably hate me.

"It's okay Rose, we get it. I'll be happy to take you on a castle tour Tala." May said, smiling sadly. "Great then. I hope you don't mind Tala?" Jonah asked me. "It's fine Jonah." I said to him, smiling softly. For some reason, I really want to be friends with them. I felt so lonely for such a long time, that I at least need to have a bit of friends here. But of course, I still have my stupid shyness, preventing me to open up. I just got a feeling that I can trust them.
