In the MM.

I put my now long hair into a huge ponytail, I had been growing my small hair the past 5 years and to my surprise it grew massively over the years. I put on my earrings as I cursed under my breath when I made a mental reminder that I needed to get my nose pierced today after meeting up with Travis.

" Mommy " I turned around to see Kairan standing at the door in just his white vest and underwear.

" Mommy's baby is up " I walked towards him as I picked him up leaving wet kisses on his face. He loved being all loved up and treated like gold , he was softer than his sister which is something that shocks me everyday . I love that though, atleast i know my baby girl will always look after her brother no matter what . She got his back.

" Is Lexi still sleeping? " I asked as I walked to the kitchen to make him something to eat, he nodded while rubbing his eye. I stumbled on a toy that almost sent me straight to the floor with my face.

" See why I don't want you playing with toys in here Kai " I looked at him, he looked back up at me innocently.

" It's Lexi " he defended, I huffed putting him down as I took the toy on the floor. " go put on your shoes baby and put this where it supposed to be " I handed him the toy as I watched him run to their room.

Shaking my head , i sighed and took my phone from the counter seeing that I had no missed call from Travis I decided to use the last bit of time I had.

" I'm making cheerios, is it okay? " I shouted so Kairan would hear me.

" Not cheerios again, I want noodles " I heard Lexus's voice, I furrowed my eyebrows.

" Kai why you said Lexi still sleeping? " I asked and I didn't get a response  from either one of them.

I sighed shaking my head, these kids will have me growing grey hair I swear.

" alright, I'm giving y'all 5 minutes to get out here to eat " I said , as I took out the noodles for Lexi making sure it's her favorite flavor.

While adding milk in Kairan's cheerios, they both came out of their room with Lexi trailing behind Kai .

" Finally. Lexi I don't see them shoes on your feet girl " I said she remembered and ran back into the room as Kairan walked to the kitchen and sat on his chair.

I passed him his cheerios as he sat down, Kairan is just like me. He speaks when necessary and is more to himself and on the other side Lexus is more talkative and usually she is Kai's spoke person, I really have no idea where she got her boldness from.

" Mommy when are we going to uncle Trav ?" Lexus questioned walking towards her brother as she pulled her chair next to him.

" Uncle Trav is coming here baby today , you miss him?" I asked they both nodded, I smiled " he's on his way okay, now eat I'll be getting your stuff to wear and run the bath for the both of you okay? "

" I don't want to bath with Lexus, I want to bath alone " this is what I go through every morning, they never want to share a bath and I always don't understand why.

" Okay then. " I lift my hands in surrender as I walked towards their room.

Travis has been helping me out in terms of raising my kids, he had told me back when I was pregnant that he was going to look after his brother's kids as if they were his own. Although I feel like August's mom and dad want nothing to do with me but the fact that my kids had a male figure in their lives mattered to me most. Ever since I left home I haven't contacted my mom and she certainly didn't bother contacting me as well which really showed me that not everyone that is family is going to suck your ass, sometimes you gotta ride without their help make them wonder how you make it on your own with two kids . I've learnt a lot the past years and I've grown stronger and kind of selfish because the only reason I'm living right now is to give my babies a better life , I want to provide them with anything they need and teach them not to need anything from anyone because people aren't constant as we think they are , people will always drop you especially when you least expect it.
