"When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible."

I had my last exam today and I couldn't be any happier. It was finally the weekend and I was going over to my parents' for the night because my uncle was visiting us. I loved train rides, but travelling from Oxford to Brighton after classes on a Friday night is just a huge no.

Our classes usually end by quarter to six in the evening, but since I had to leave for Brighton, I decided to leave a little early and hence skipped my last hour. I took Anna's car on my way back to the apartment; Ethan will probably give her a ride back home. She was driving me to the train station since she had to get her car back. I got back to the apartment by five and did the last minute baggage check. One day or one month, a girl's gotta pack what she requires.

I was busy packing my laptop when Anna entered my room, "So there's a slight change of plans" she says slowly.

"Um, okay?"

"Andy offered to drop you off at the station"

"NO WAY"

"It can't end that bad, come on. It's just a ten-minute ride"

"You're kidding me, right? Remember the last time, when you had to talk to make it less awkward? WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?"

"He offered!"

"How did he even know that I was leaving today?" I squint at her.

"He asked me about our weekend plans...and I may or may not have mentioned it..."

"Thanks, I really appreciate it" I roll my eyes.

"Whatever. He'll be here in ten"

"Fine," I sigh "Wait, are you staying at Ethan's until I'm back?"

"Nope, he's busy. Come on, I'll help with the packing"

"I'm done. It's just for a day anyway"

"Okay, I'll ring Andy"

"How long are you going to stay?" Andy frowned

"How long are you going to stay?" Andy frowned. You've got to be kidding me, right now. He's acting like a love-sick boyfriend who can't part from his girlfriend even for a second. Ew.

"I'll be back by Sunday evening for sure; I'm not missing any more classes"

"Why are you visiting your parents all of a sudden?"

"Do I need a specific reason to visit my parents, Andy?" I roll my eyes.

"No, I-I just...you were never too excited about visiting your parents?" I sighed. He did have a point though. I didn't really like being home. I don't know if it was because my parents were too busy to pay any attention to me or because I felt lonely since I had no friends or whatever. My routine consisted of studying, reading books, listening to music, that's pretty much it. I felt more alive and at home after joining college. I had no pressure, I did everything because I enjoyed it and not because I had to do it.
