Mitch felt like he was spinning in circles. He didn't know what to do without Scott, but all he could think was that he's gone and he isn't coming back. He needed to talk to someone, so he got Avi.
"Everything will work out. We'll get Scott and you'll keep him safe. This will never happen again, Mitch." Avi said as he stopped Mitch's pacing by resting both hands on his shoulders.
Mitch nodded as he listened, "I know, you're right. I just- I miss him, Avi. I miss him a lot, and the thought of him being with a bunch of strangers that could be hurting him right now, it terrifies me." Mitch confessed.
Avi nodded, "When we find him, Scott and you will go home together, and you'll keep him safe and show him how much you care." He smiled. "Do I make it obvious?" Mitch asked. "Kevin and I can see it, I'm not sure about any one else. But Mitch, you need to tell him when we get him back." Avi said kindly. Mitch nodded, "I think we should just focus on getting him back right now." He mumbled. Avi nodded, "And we will, after we eat. I know you skipped, and I know you're worried, but you're no use to Scott if you're weak from starving yourself." He said kindly.
Mitch nodded, "I just don't want him to be wherever he is anymore. He's probably terrified." He mumbled as he and Kevin sat down while Avi went hunting. "I know it hurts, if anything happened to Todrick, I don't know what I'd do. But you will be with Scott, you'll mate with him, have kids, and you'll live a long life with him." Kevin smiled as Mitch nodded with a wider smile. "You're a great friend, you and Avi. Thank you." He smiled.
