Twenty-Five

A/N double because I can and because I have several draft chapters!!! Wahoo!!!

Mitch and the others stopped for the night when it got dark, they made a fire and sat around it, some of them going to sleep. Avi and Kevin both sat beside Mitch and watched the fire, making sure it didn't go out.

"I should have stayed with him." He sighed as he watched the flame move around. "Mitch, he wouldn't have just walked off. Someone he trusted led him there and gave him over. Alex was supposed to be watching him at that bon fire." Kevin sighed. Mitch nodded, "Scott wouldn't just leave, he knows better. Someone he trusted or knows got him to leave. And I have my suspicions." He sighed. "Like who?" Avi asked with furrowed brows. Mitch sighed, "Where's Alex?" He whispered. Kevin shook his head, "You think Alex is helping?" He asked. "I don't know. He disappeared the night Scott did, and he has disappeared every night since, always late." Mitch shrugged. "Are you sure?" Kevin asked. "No. But I want him followed. I don't trust him, first he starts spending a lot if time with Scott, then when Scott disappears he drops off the face of the earth for hours a day." Mitch sighed. Kevin nodded, "I'll have Avi keep an eye on him." He nodded. "Thank you. And I hope I'm wrong, I'd hate for Alex to be hurting the omega's." Mitch mumbled.

Scott was quiet for a while, but eventually Jake took the wires off and undid the straps of the chair-thing he was in and lifted him up. Scott held onto him reluctantly, he didn't want to fall on the ground.

Jake took him to a small building made of bricks. "Where are we going?" Scott asked shyly. "No more questions, and do not disobey me or I will put you back in that chair." Jake threatened. Scott nodded slowly, "Yes alpha." He said softly.
