"The braclet"

   I started to panic nicki seems to take notice of me panicking. She looked worried.
   "Nat, you okay?" She said with concern in her voice.
I showed her my wrist and she looked confused "My bracelet, My bracelet is missing!" I then looked around the room. Trying to find it but I couldn't.

The bell rang and I took nicki by the hand and we went around the school trying to look for my bracelet.
   "Why are we looking for this bracelet, you can get another one." She told me while I was dragging her with me.
   "I can't just not look for that bracelet. That bracelet is special to me, I either find it for die."
   "Why is it so special." She asked as she pulled her wrist from my arm.
   "Because...my dad gave it to me for my 16th birthday." My face went from tired to sad as I thought about my dad. My dad has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He drank and was sometimes abusive to my mom and me. Nicki didn't know that and neither did Aaron or Derrik. My dad had passed away 2 weeks ago from a drug overdose. When I saw him a little part of me died. He wasn't the best dad but he was definitely my dad and I loved him so much I still do and I pray for my dad to be brought back to me but I knew that wasn't going to happen.
   "Oh, it's just a present why is it so important." She said breaking me from my thoughts.
   "He.." I tried to continue but I couldn't. I felt tears run down my face and I could tell nicki was concerned. "He...died from a..drug overdose." After I had said that I cried my eyes out I fell to the ground with my hands covering my face. Nicki then came to me and hugged me.

As I was crying I could hear steps behind me. Nicki looked up to see who it was.
   "Aaron.." she whispered. I then felt a hand on my shoulder and I knew what she meant by that. I got off the ground and tried to fake a smile but he knew it was a forced smile. He stared at me while tears were streaming down my face.

I felt a warm embrace around me, Aaron who was no longer standing on front of me had hugged me along with nicki. I felt so happy and safe when I was with them.
   "What happened..why are you crying." He asked, concern in his voice.
   "I don't know if I can tell you..." I said between breaths. He wiped the tears from my face with his hand. His hand warm and gentle.
   "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." He whispered loud enough for me and nicki to hear.

The bell had rung and I needed to go to my next class. Which was English with Aaron. I looked at him and smiled. I got a smile in response. Nicki then hugged me and went to her class. The rest of the school day was fun. My friends were very supportive. I went home and when I opened the door I couldn't believe what I saw. I saw him. Oliver. I ran up to him and hugged him.
   "Omg Oliver what are you doing here?! I haven't seen you in years!" I was so excited to finally see my brother after all these years.
   "Natalia I wanted to surprise you and come back!" He said with a smile on his face. I smiled back and turned to my mom.
   "Surprise sweetie! Oliver came here and he wants to tell you something." I looked over to him as he started saying words that made me fill with happiness and joy on the inside.
   "Natalia, I'm moving back in! I'll be living back here with you and mom!" I smiled bright.
   "You just made my day!" I was about to explode of joy when I remembered he doesn't know that my dad had passed away. I looked at my mom before she told me.
   "Sweetie, take Oliver to your room and tell him what happened." I nodded and took him upstairs and told him what had happened.
  "I know it's a lot to take in but we had to tell you..." he looked at the ground and I felt tears running down my face again. He looked at me and looked back down.

I looked down as well before covering my face with my hands. I heard the door to my room close and I then layed on my bed and fell asleep. I've had a fun day with sadness and happiness. My bracelet was gone I couldn't find it anywhere.

  Derrik's POV
I was walking to my house with Aaron and I broke the silence when I asked.
   "You like her don't you?" He looked at me confused.
   "What"
   "You like Natalia don't you" I said. He just blushed and nodded. I was surprised at how fast he told me I thought he was going to deny it.
   "Well maybe it will help you get over your ex. She was a bitch, Amanda was stupid to cheat on you." I looked over at him and he was looking down.
   "I like her because she is just so open and such a kind and funny person. I don't know if I should tell her or not. Are you okay with me liking her since you like her too?" I nodded as I heard that
   "I guess she will have to pick between us." I said while smirking. Then I turned to Aaron who was staring straight ahead and not moving. I looked straight ahead and I couldn't believe what I saw. Amanda was back.
