Friends with benefits

"Back to school"

   "I have to wear the best clothes I have" I said being the girly that I am I always dressed to impress. Although I did talk to myself a lot. I looked into my drawer and picked up a little black dress and put it on with some white shoes. I straightened my hair right after and then put on a bracelet that was extremely special to me. I then went downstairs to find my mom cooking some eggs for breakfast. The smell of bacon made me almost fall for how good it smelled

   "Hi mom!" I said hugging her tightly.
   "Hi sweetie how are you doing this morning you sound really happy!" She said looking at me before putting cooked eggs on my plate
   "I'm doing great. And I'm just excited because I'm finally a junior in highschool and I get to see my friends after summer." I said really happily, looking at my mom as I watched her put the plate of eggs and bacon in front of me. I started to eat when I noticed my mom staring at me.
   "Are you sure you're ok after what happened..." she said with a slight worry tone in her voice.
   "Mom" I said looking into her eyes and holding her hands that were resting on the table. "I'm fine the more I think about it the more it will make me sad. I'm going to try to keep being positive and not thinking about it much." I said before I got up from my chair to hug her.
   "That's good sweetie I'll do the same." She said hugging me back. "Now get going to school or you'll be late and you don't want to be late!"

I then went back upstairs to get my bag from my closet and then said bye to my mom waving in a royalty manner before leaving I heard my mom say goodbye and laugh a little to herself.

I walk to school because the school was close to my house. I then walked into the school and I couldn't believe what I saw. When I walked in I saw Nicki Aaron and Derrik standing in front of the door like they were waiting for me. Iran up to them and hugged all of them.

   "Omg I missed you guys so much! I'm so sorry that I couldn't visit you but I was dealing with something." I said but my shouting turned into a loud whisper as I kept talking

Aaron then looked at me "You ok?" I looked up at him and smiled I nodded and then turned to Nicki who was staring at both of us.
  "Uhh....you guys done now..if you don't mind Aaron I would like my best friend back if you don't mind." I then looked at her confused and happy to hear her voice again
   "Uhh ok then?" Aaron said looking at me while I hugged Nicki.
   "Nicki...I'm so glad to hear your voice!" I told her looking her in the eyes as she giggled a little.
   "Aww you flatter me too much but it's not my fault I have a voice that sound like a hundred angels singing in harmony." I laughed as she said that then I turned to Derrik who was looking at Aaron as he also raised an eyebrow
   "Heeeeey Nat, how's your summer been beautiful." He said his eyebrow still raised. As you can see Derrik has always been a flirt. I laughed before giving him a thumbs up.
  
Nicki then took me by the hand to the restroom and then held my shoulders as she looked into my eyes
   "Natalia we need to talk."
