New kids, New crushes

I watched as Oliver stared at me. I didn't know what he was thinking about. I just looked down from the awkwardness, while Aaron wrapped his arm around me. I blushed even more. I wasn't used to Aaron out of all people, doing what he did. Don't get me wrong I actually was kind of hoping he would do that...yea I really liked him. I looked up at Oliver who was still staring at me. He finally decided to break the silence.

"Wow.." was all he had said. I didn't know if that was good or bad. I was waiting for Aaron to respond but Ryan interrupted my thought, as she always does.
"That's cute! I'm happy for you guys!" I knew she didn't mean it. She was probably going to do something to make me seem like a bad person.
"Thanks." I heard Aaron say to Ryan. Aaron's arm was still wrapped around me. I hadn't said a word since Aaron told Oliver and Ryan I was his "girlfriend". I was too shy to say anything. I looked at Ryan, she was looking at Aaron like she loved him or something. Oliver seems to take notice of this. I kind of felt jealous in a way even though me and Aaron weren't dating. Oliver looked at me while I was staring at Ryan, a look of disgust on my face.

"So Ryan, you want to get going?" I was begging for him not to leave in my head because that would bring awkwardness to what Aaron had said. Ryan nodded and left, leaving us two...alone.. I think this was the most awkward thing in the world for me. I looked down yet again. An action I did often when I was nervous. He also looked down then looked at me.

"Sorry." Is all he said. I looked at him and smiled.
"It's fine I was just shocked. Now my brother thinks that I'm dating my best friend." I sounded disappointed by I wasn't. "Aaron...why did you tell Ryan and my brother that we were dating?" I wanted to know. I'm always looking for the truth and it gets annoying after a while.
"Natalia, Ryan has been trying to get with me for the longest time. I never liked her and never will." I looked at him, nodding and urging him to continue.
"Natalia, I like you...a lot that's why I told Oliver that I was dating you." I had no words. I liked him a lot too but I was surprised. I couldn't say anything. I looked down

"Remember that night...when we kissed well before nicki came I was going to tell you this but, I couldn't." I was thinking to myself. Should I ask him if that kiss meant anything? Well it was now or never.
"Aaron er..did that kiss..uh mean anything?" He looked at me in shock. I couldn't say anything so I looked away. He placed his hand on my cheek and turned me to face him. He leaned in and kissed my lips softly.
"It meant everything."

I was at my locker when nicki came up to me. She seemed excited to talk to me for some reason.
"Natalia oh my god, you need to see this!!" She points at a guy who was at his locker. He had dark hair tan skin and blue eyes. He was beautiful I had to admit but, I don't think I have seen him around.
"I have never seen him here before."
"He's a new student. Isn't he cute." I just looked at her and sighed. She liked him I could tell. It's very obvious.
"Nicki, I'm not about to be part of your love life." And with that I started walking away before I felt a arm on my shoulder.
"Wait Natalia, I promise I won't drag you into my love life." I turned around, nicki was standing there her hand now sticked out in front of me. I took her hand and shook it. She laughed and I smiled. I started to get to my class. I haven't seen derrick in a couple days I have no idea where he is. I got a little worried because he is one of my best friends.

I got to my class and sat down. That class is honestly kind of boring..no it is boring. I haven't seen Aaron since that night. It seems like almost everyone is avoiding me. Except Nicki of course. I wanted to see him. He wasn't in any of the periods we have together. I guess he didn't come to school. Class ended shortly after and I couldn't be happier. Nicki and I agreed to go to Aaron's house after school. I was walking with Nicki down the hall and Nicki stopped. I didn't know why but she was staring straight ahead, her eyes wide open. I looked straight ahead as well and I saw derrick and Ryan.

Before I could react. Derrick's lips were already on Ryan's.
