I just got in a small meeting with Mr. Hawthorne and Mr. Fallon. We talked over some of the basics and I found out Celine needs a place to stay since there isn't many great places for visitors to stay where I live. Me being me, I offered up my house! Celine Dion is going to be staying at my house! I also found out that Celine isn't only going to be performing for our school tomorrow, but she is doing a concert tomorrow night and Friday night...which means she will be staying at my house even longer. I'm so excited. I would tell Molly but I'm quite busy with planning. It is currently 9 at night and I am going to have an early day tomorrow. I think I'll go to bed to get a good nights rest.

------NEXT DAY------

*beep beep beep*

My alarm clock goes off and I hit snooze. But wait a minute, I get to meet Celine today! I run to my bathroom to get ready. I brush my teeth, curl my hair, and put some light makeup on. I go over to my closet. "Hmm, what to wear." Mr. Fallon said I should dress professional since I will be representing our school to Celine almost all day. I grab a pair of black dress pants and a golden yellow dressy shirt. I put on a few bracelets with a nice pair of earrings.

I run downstairs not even acknowledging breakfast since I would like to be early. I put on my black heels and head out the door. I listen to Celine the entire way to school. I pull into school and there is already a lot of media there. I get out of my vehicle and walk inside to the band room. Mr. Hawthorne and Mr. Fallon agreed that the band room would be the main place for Celine to change and for her and her staff to be in since it is connected to our auditorium and across the hall from our gym, which she will perform in for our school.

"Hello Mr. Fallon." I say as I walk through the doors.

"Hey Sam, you ready?"

"I hope so." I say not sure of myself.

"You'll do great. I can't think of anyone else to have this position. Let's get started." He says going into his office. I follow him inside. "First things first. The performance is at the end of the day so classes are shortened. You won't be going to any since you will be helping me set up beforehand and making sure Celine is all settled once she gets here. I am going to head over to the gym to get the mic and speakers set up. If you could tidy up some of the random music lying around and stack the chairs and music stands that would be great!" he smiles.

"Yes, of course! I'll meet you in the gym when I finish." I respond, he walks out the door and I carry on with my task.

I get to work stacking the chairs and stands and pushing them neatly off to the side. This definitely takes less time when the whole band is helping but oh well. I then pick up stray pieces of music and stack them nicely on the shelves in order. I make sure everything is looking clean. I head over to the gym.

"Oh hey Mr. Hawthorne." he almost runs into me as I cross the hall.

"Hey, Celine is going to be here soon. I'm going to give you a radio so we can keep in touch beforehand and during the performance. I will also let you know when she arrives. Mr. Fallon will have one too." he says handing me the radio. He walks off and I clip it to my pants and put the earpiece in my ear. I feel important, then laugh to myself. I walk into the gym to see a small stage in the center with speakers and a microphone.

"How's it coming along?" I yell over to Mr. Fallon.

He looks up from the side of the stage. "It's going well. Say, could you get the electrical tape in my office the guard uses and tape the wires that are running along the floor?"

"Yes of course!" I run back into his office and go into the bottom drawer of his desk. I grab the tape and head back into the gym.

I tape the wires so no one trips and go put the tape back. I hear muffled noises then, "Hey, Sam? Celine is coming any minute to the front door, could you guy meet her?"

"Yes, on my way." I leave the band room once again and the hallways are filled. Great timing. Now everyone is going to see Celine and that can't happen. I have a plan. I run into the gym, "We have a problem I need your keys."

"I'm not even going to question it. Here, take them." Mr. Fallon tosses me his keys and I continue down the crowded hallway to the front doors. There are kids streaming in and out of them to get to class but hopefully with my plan fewer will see her.
