Celine and I walk into the band room through the back door as usual.

"SURPRISE!!!!" People scream out of no where!

"Oh my gosh!" I scream and put my hands on my face. I look over at Celine and she is smirking. "You knew about this!!!!" I ask her.

"Maaayyyybbbbbeeee," she smiles big. Mr. Fallon comes walking over.

"Well, since you will be leaving us, I only thought it was right to throw you a surprise, we are proud of you, going away party." He gives me a hug.

"Awe I can't believe you guys." I say almost in tears. Everyone "awes" and comes over to congratulate me and give me a hug.

I see Molly, and many other band friends. I see one of my favorite teachers along with some staff. I see my color guard group. I smile when I see them talking about next years show. I walk over to them, "Wow, you guys are nerds." I laugh.

"Don't leave us!" One of my favorites in the group tells me.

"Well, I will hopefully be back to visit and I will try to make it to a practice or performance next year."

"Please do!" They all nod in agreeance.

The "party" settles down and I found out that they are all going to be in the audience tonight. I'm pretty excited about that, they will all be able to see me doing what I will be leaving for. We do our usual routine, Celine gets ready, I check the doors, I make sure the ticket takers are ok, I meet Celine in the band room, she dresses, then we walk back stage. Mr. Fallon hands me the mic and it's time for me to go onstage. I walk out.

"Hello everyone, as some of you may know, I am Celine's new manager." My friends cheer. "I was given this amazing opportunity by Celine herself. One of my many tasks include welcoming her onto the stage. Now I know you all are an amazing audience, so, I need some help bringing Celine on stage. I would now like to welcome, the most talented, Celine Dion!"

Celine hugs me and takes the mic. "Hello everyone!"

I walk off stage and go through the back of the auditorium to join my friends for the show. The last show before we leave.

The show has ended and I'm meeting Celine behind the stage. My friends are waiting in the hall for me so they can say their goodbyes. I walk out, I'm already crying. I run into Molly's arms. She's about the only one that can truly comfort me.  The others take me in and tell me goodbye. I make sure to get all of their numbers so their messages don't get buried by fan messages. It's time to go so I say one final goodbye before Celine and I head back to my house for the night.

Celine and I get into the car and I sigh. "What's wrong?" Celine asks.

"Just going to miss everyone...I'll have to facetime them every so often," I say with a smile.

"Of course! And you'll have a fancy new computer to use!"

"Wait, really?"

"Yeah, you are my manager and you'll need something that can keep up with work and personal life."

"Well thank you! I honestly don't know how I could ever thank you!"

"You don't have to." She smiles. We pull into my driveway and head straight for bed.

It's about ten in the morning when we finally get up. "Hey Celine, want to go out for breakfast?"

"Well...I just don't want to be noticed." She sighs.

"You can borrow my drum corps shirt and wear a hat." I laugh at my own suggestion. "I'm sure no one would expect you to be into band." I laugh.

"Eh, why not." She laughs. We get ready and head out to go get breakfast.

We get to the restaurant. I do all the talking and Celine keeps her head down. It's not that she doesn't like her fans, she just doesn't always want to be noticed. We sit in our booth and look at our menus. Mmmm, I might have a breakfast sandwich with diced potatoes. "What are you going to have?" I ask Celine.

"I'm kind of thinking I'll have pancakes. I haven't had those in forever."

Our waitress sees that we are ready and takes our order. Celine speaks up, "So what will we be doing today?"

"What do you want to do?"

"Whatever you want, it's your town." She smiles.

"Maybe go and tell my mom about me leaving. That could be difficult. She's, well, interesting."

"It's ok. Can I come with?"

"Of course! I might need backup." I say sarcastically.

"We could call in Law and he could give her some sass."

I laugh, "We might need to."

Our food arrives. We eat in silence, not an awkward one, but comfortable."

We finish and decide to go to my mother's.
