We got in the water it was warm i coudn't imagine how many people pissed in here. Somebody touched my leg and got from under the water . "My bad i thought you was somebody else" He said whipping the water off his face with his hand. "Andre" I asked knowing him he was in the 12th grade and also on the basketball team. He knew everybody. "Yea and your name is" He said pausing for me to speak. "May" I said looking up at him he was so damn fine. "Oh yeah June little sister right" He asked . "Um yea" I said. "Dre come here" I'm guessing his girlfriend said. "I gotta go it was cool running into you lil mama" He said looking past me at his girlfriend then back and me and cracked a smile before getting out the water. His girlfriend didn't go to our school matter fact she went to the school that we don't like she was in the 12th grade and everybody knew she was a hoe for money. "Girl you was just talking to dre what the fuck ya'll was talking about' Royalty asked. "Nothing" i said looking at him and Jayla his girlfriend. "Ya'll was starring in each other eyes and shit damn you like him don't you" Mea asked. "No i barely even know him he just a regular nigga" I said not knowing if i was telling the truth or not. "Whatever" Royalty said laughing. We swam and laughed a little before it was almost time for me to go home. I got out the lake and Dried my long curly hair that was now hanging down my back. I grabbed the hair tie from off my wrist and put my hair in a high ponytail to keep it out the way. I dried myself off with the towel i brung and Put back on my shorts i kept my shirt off. Mea went somewhere with her boyfriend and Royalty was some where flirting so i was alone. I went to buy some chips from the snack area.....

I counted my money and sighed. I been thinking lately a lot about the same thing. I ain't want my pops lifestyle i never did. I'm good at what i do but i don't got no life i barely see my sister or my mama i use to play football i had to quit the team cause pops said its a distracting to business. This ain't what i want truthfully but i wasn't gone let him know that . He been teaching me this shit since i was 10. I put the money in the safe and reset the safe code. I grabbed my glock off the table and got back in the car with my pops. My phone dinged letting me know i had a message.

I got back in the house and noticed my mama was sleep on the couch i put a blanket oveer her and kissed her cheek. I went upstairs to my restroom and took a shower before getting in my bed and going on instagram until i fell asleep...

I woke up hearing my alarm clock go off. I put the pillow over my head and sighed before getting out of bed. I went in my closet and picked something to wear for today.

I brushed my teeth and washed my face after getting dressed. I flat ironed my hair bone straight and left it out. I did my eyebrows and put on clear lip gloss. I grabbed my purple backpack and put my basketball try outs outfit inside of it. I put on some white pearl earrings and grabbed my phone and the charger leaving out my room to see my mama in her room getting dressed. My mama was a school teacher not far from our school. "Alright mama I'm leaving i love you daddy gonna pick me up from try outs today bye" I said kissing her cheek and leaving. I got in the car and drove to school it was 15 minutes away. I got out the car after finding a parking spot. I walked into the school and spotted Royalty standing at her locker. i snuck up on her. "Boo" I said touching her making her jump. "Girl don't do that i was about to cut your ass" She said. "Whatever" i said laughing. "Mea not coming to school today she got a cold" Royalty explained. "You got basketball try outs today" Royalty asked. 'Yeah I'm nervous this the first try out I'm not trynna be rude but don't come" I said. "Ok if that's what you want i ain't wanna watch a bunch of sweaty messy bitches anyways" She said making me laugh. She walked with me to my locker. "Aye wassup May right" Andre said walking over with his boys. He wore a blue and white big letter mans jacket white true religious jeans with his 2017 air jordan 12's royal blue's. He wore one gold earring in one ear and a matching chain he smelt so damn good. His dreads was pulled back in a back ponytail neatly fresh edge up and all. "Yeah Dre right" I asked jokingly. He chuckled. "My bad for being rude last night ma " He said licking his sexy big lips he had grey eyes that starred into my soul. "You good " I said . "Alright i guess imma see you later "He said smirking before walking away. "Girl that nigga is yours already" Royalty laughed. " No he not he go with Jayla" I said rolling my eyes putting my back pack in my locker and shutting it. "Fuck that hoe He want you though you don't see the way he look at you? He apologized to you and everything" She said. The bell rung saving my life. "I got to go I'll see you in P.E" I said walking away avoiding the conversation about Dre. I walked into history which was my first class. By the way Andre's real name was D'Andre but people called him Andre or Dre or short D....
