I smiled as everybody clapped. I got off the stage and went to hug June and my mama then Andre. "You did good ma" He said laughing. We went to sit at a family table with Andre Uncle and Aunt his cousin Aubree my mama and June. "So this is May" Andre's mom asked him. "Hi" I said smiling giving him her a hug. She laughed. "Hey baby your so gorgeous" She said smiling hard. "Gorgeous isn't even the word she is beautiful" His aunt said hugging me. 'Thank you so are ya'll" I said sitting down when Andre pulled my chair out for me. "And you must be Andre she talks about you all the time" My mama said. "Ma no I don't " I said covering my face. Everybody laughed. "So you be talking about me lil mama" Andre asked. I shook my head no pushing him out my face. "Yea that's my boy" June said putting his arm around Andre neck like a bro hug. "Hey Daniel  I'm his mother you really have beautiful kids" Andre's mom said. "april Thank you your son is wonderful so Iv'e heard" My mom said telling her her name and conversating with her.  We all ate and laughed . "You wanna go walk" Andre asked me. i nodded and got up. "Mama I'll meet you back at the hotel" I said grabbing Andre hand. The sky looked so pretty and lit we walked on the sand hand in hand. "If you never bumped me under the water at the spot would you ever even have talked to me?" I asked looking at the sand as we walked. "I don't know if i didn't I would have been blind " He said making me laugh he was so corny. "So your mama name April  your brother name June and your name May whats your pops name?" He asked laughing. "August" I said smiling. He bust out laughing harder. "Ya'll months are you serious" He asked. I pushed him a little.....

"They really good people August you need to behave tonight" My ma told my pops as she put on her earring. "You tripping damn I ain't no kid" He said sucking his teeth. May ain't even notice them arguing she was in her own world.

 We arrived at the picnic table where our we was all having thanksgiving at. The table was long right next to the beach it was a beautiful view. "There go that sexy swag i like" Andre said wrapping his arms around my waste. I laughed. "You look handsome" I said dusting some length off of his shirt.

His dread were in 2 fish bones braided to the back neatly. "You gone introduce me" My daddy asked appearing on the side of me. "Oh um daddy this is Andre my boyfriend" I said nervously. "Mmm boyfriend huh?" He asked . Andre held out his hand for my daddy to shake it. Suprisingly he shook it. I blew a breathe of relief out and smiled. We all sat down after everybody greeted each other. "These rolls are good" My mama said complimenting . "I made them" Andre Aunt said smiling. "These are good " I said smiling. "Yea she know how to get down in the kitchen" His Uncle said . "Literally" Aubree mumbled. "Thank ya'll so much" She said blushing. " Your daughter is so well behaved you wanan make a switch" Andre uncle asked my daddy. Making him laugh "Appreciate it but i could never give my princess away" My daddy said placing a kiss on my forehead. "Daddy you wrong" Aubree said laughing. "Excuse me but June and I have something to do the food was delicious appreciate ya'll inviting us" My daddy said smiling getting up whipping his mouth with the napkin. "Are you seriously going to take him on thanksgiving in the middle of this" My mom asked trying to keep a smile on her face. "April don't start June lets go" He said pushing his chair in. "June sit down" My mom said. "Oh my god i said putting my head down knowing they were finna start this bullshit. my daddy looked at my mama with a deathe glare he HATED when she went against a order he gave. "June get up " He said sternly. " I looked at June and he looked at me standing up slowly confused. "June sit the hell down and stay " My mama said sipping her wine. "Bi-girl " My daddy said on the verge of calling my mama a bitch. She quickly looked at him throwing her drink on him. She got up and started hitting him. I sat there in my own world really confused and mad. i got up angry . "STOOP!" I yelled as everybody stpped trying to take my mama off my daddy and they stopped. "i can't believe ya'll I'm embarrassed of ya'll" I said turning and running to the bus ....

I looked at my pops then my ma. "Ya'll out forreal really fucked up this time ya'll know she was looking forward to this shit" I said shaking my head at them and rubbing my hands through my hair before walking away going to find May. This shit was embarrassing as hell arguing about dumb shit in public. Sometimes i be hoping they agree on something. I can't believe he disrespected somebody he once loved soembody he was once married too who gave him life. I got back isndie the hotel room to see May packing. "Where you going may" i asked sitting down. "Home i do not want to be here with them any more ruined my vacation" She said putting everything back in her suit case. "You really leaving?" I asked . "Yea and don't try to stop me June She said zipping her suit case up. "Ok I won't look I'm sorry on the be half of ma and pops atleast let me walk you to the airport" I said sighing. She nodded.......
