Rex x Matt ~Strange Love~

(A/N) I might be evil but, this is gonna be awesome! Poor Matt, let's see how well this goes. This is a take on with Rex and Matt if they became a couple ^^ I hope it turns out well... Rex: Oh yeah! I get a chance! *dances* Angel: Don't push you're luck, Rex! Joey: You heard the lady, man. Don't be creepy as well!

No one's pov:

Matt was walking to her locker to pick up and drop off her books for her next class. Once she reached her locker, put in her number combination, a note was laying on the locker floor in front of her books, "Huh?" Matt picked up the note, 'How did this note get in my locker?' Matt, turned the note over, saw there was something written on it, "Let's see...." Matt started to read it: 'You got me going crazy, you are so beautiful, my Goddess.'

Matt's eyes were wide, she was kinda creep out by this but, she wondered who got into her locker! No one knew her combination, she had to get a new lock due to the other students breaking into her locker and stealing her work, make-up, etc. "I bet it's Weevil or Rex..." Matt groaned out, closing her locker, put the note in her backpack so she can ask her sister if it was Weevil, Rex or someone else. "Whatever...I better get to class.." Matt sighed and went to her first class, chemistry.

Rex's pov:

I'm sitting in my class, waiting for the damn teacher to show up, some times I wonder why we are here but, oh well. I think Matt will like the little note with the pick up line on it, heh. "Rex, why are you daydreaming, again?" Ugh, that kinda high pitched but, creepy voice that belongs to Weevil.

"Yeah, so what?" I look at my friend, I have no idea why we're friends, guess it makes sense I guess, "I couldn't help but, noticed you were by my sweet Dragon fly's locker." 'Okay, I guess I see Angel's and Matt's point on Weevil, that was creepy..' I thought, "Yeah, I was. What's it to ya?" I asked him, looking out the window, "Nothing, just wondering. I got some tricks for us to use, I have been looking up pick up lines to use on her. You should try some, see if any work on her."

Weevil grins, I look right at him with a creep out face, 'That won't end well....There are really bad pick up lines...' Weevil may have a point there but, Matt already dislikes us, I think mostly Weevil but, she seems always annoyed with me, so maybe there is a chance for me, never know till I try! I turn to look at Weevil with a smirk, "Alright Buggy, I'll try some out, let's see which ones works!" Weevil smirked back with his hand out for me to grab, "Let's get started then, Rex." I grab Weevil's hand and we both shook on it.

~Time Skip~

Matt's pov:

Okay, Weevil has been using the most lame, creepy, very creepy pick up lines that always have bugs in it..! Thank god, I haven't run into him again... I was heading outside to eat lunch, under a tree that had pretty flowers this time of year, I was heading out there when I noticed Rex leaning against the wall with his head hanging kinda low, looking at the floor. 'God, I can't seem to catch a break can I?!' I thought to myself as I was about to walk past him, he spoke up, "Hey, Matt." I stopped for a second but, I kept moving forward, that didn't seem to settle with Rex very well..

Rex grabbed my arm and had me against the wall, "Why?!" I yell at him, he looks at me with his dark almost black color eyes (I have no idea what color they are) He looks at me, I can hear him taking a deep breath before he starts speaking, "Will Yu-Gi-Oh out with me?" I blink so many times, was that a pick up line?! "Uh...um, was that a pick up line, Rex?" I ask, he nodded, "Y-yeah, it is but, at the same time asking you out..." Rex looked away, is he blushing?! No way, the " Great " Dino Duel Monsters Rex Raptor is blushing! I look at him, "Where's this coming from, Rex?" I ask him, he looks at me, his cheeks still dusted with a light shade of pink.

Rex's pov:

I swear my face is still warm, I never lose my cool around any girl! But, Matt wasn't like the rest of them, she's always being bullied by everyone here, she's the only one I lose my cool when I'm near her or try to but, her sister get's in the way every time, can't say I blame her...

I look back at Matt who is still looking right into my eyes with her light green eyes that I'm sure I can get lost in, "I've been trying to use the right pick up lines to ask you out...." I look down, feeling the blood rush up to my face again, I think my face is as red as the Red Eyes Black Dragon's eyes. Matt spoke up, snapping me out of my thoughts, "Rex, that's sweet of you but, you and Weevil always put the moves on me or at least try to do so." She was right, we always do, "I'm sorry for that."

Now she was shocked, I never did say I was sorry for putting moves on her, "It's okay, Rex." Okay, now I was shocked, "You do?!" Matt nods at me, "Yeah I do, it's the right thing to do. Thank you, Rex." She smiled at me, I won't be able to keep myself back if she keeps this up! "M-matt.." "Yes?" I sighed and I took this risk, I grabbed her chin gently and pressed my lips against hers.

Matt's pov:

Oh my god! What the hell is happening here?! Rex is kissing me, why the hell won't I fight back here?! I start to push him off but, he growled when I did so, so he grabbed my hands, pinned them to my sides, he pulled away for a minute, "Matt, I'm not giving up on you. I deeply care for you, I love you.." I was blushing bright red when he told me his feelings, my heart was beating really fast that I swear it was gonna pop!

Rex tucked a little bit of my brown hair behind my ear, "Heh, I guess you feel the same way, you're a blushing mess right now, my little Dino-amite." I giggled, that was cute, I nodded, Rex smiles sweetly at me, "Will you go out to dinner with me tonight, Matt?" He asked nicely, I nodded, "Yes, I will, Rex." I smile at him and he leans in to kiss me again, this time with more love and passion into it. I wrap my arms around his neck, his arms snaked to hold my waist firmly, I played with his long, kinda spiky brown hair, he was a little taller than me when we pulled away for much needed air, I gasped and so did Rex, "I guess we're now a dueling couple hehe." "I agree, this will be fun. I hope my sister and friends will warm up to you..."

Rex nodded, "I'm sure they will in time, but, right now, let's enjoy our day." I smile sweetly at my new boyfriend while holding his hand tightly, this day gotten better. "Yeah, let's go, my Dino lover." I smirked at him, he blushed bright red with a smirked on his own, "Thought you never say so, babe." We walk outside together to enjoy the rest of the school day.

Wow! This took me forever to write!
