Pool Party - Part 2 - Chapter 7

Oliver turned his body towards her, trying to catch her, but it was too late. As Caroline hit the ground everyone heard a "SnAp". Caroline screamed at the top of her lungs on the ground, as tears started to form in her eyes.
"Caroline!!", Shaina says as she runs to Caroline. Shaina goes on her knees and checks on Caroline to see if she was okay, but she wasn't. As Shaina moved hair out of Caroline's face, Caroline signaled Shaina by holding her left ankle.
"It.. Hurts..", Caroline tried to say, under her pain. As all of this was happening, Oliver stood near Shaina and Caroline, putting his head down in disappointment. Barry held Shaina as he said, "Oliver.". Oliver ignored Barry and started to kneel down to Caroline and pick her up in his arms, gently, but firmly.
"I think she broke her ankle. We need to get her to a hospital.", Shaina said as Oliver wiped a tear from Caroline's face.
"I'll get the car ready. We'll go to Central City Hospital!", Barry said before jogging out the house. Shaina patiently waited for Oliver to walk. While Oliver placed Caroline in the backseat of Barry's car, he said, "I'm sorry that I didn't catch you in time.".
"It's fine. No one saw it coming.", Caroline said as she rubbed her face. Barry then drives to Central City Hospital.

As Barry pulled up on the driveway of the hospital, Oliver quickly lifted up Caroline and went out the car. Barry and Shaina ran behind him. The 3 of them didn't care if they were wearing bathing suits, they just ran. As they entered the hospital, Oliver shouted as loud as he can, "HELP. SHE HAS A BROKEN ANKLE!". As he shouted that a red-haired nurse with a unoccupied wheelchair was walking by. When the nurse heard that sentence she started to walk and roll the wheelchair toward the 3.
"Put her in here. I'll get her in the emergency room and get a doctor.", the nurse said quickly.
Oliver gently but still quickly laid Caroline in the wheelchair.
"Please wait here until the doctor comes.", the nurse said as she called for backup.
Oliver, Barry, and Shaina sat in the waiting room. Barry held firmly and closely as Shaina laid on his chest. Oliver still kept his head down. Shaina fell asleep as she laid on Barry and Oliver quietly whispered to Barry, "Why couldn't you use your super speed to save her..".
"Remember, I can't show my powers in front of them. And Caroline and Shaina can't know our secrets, it'll worry them.", Barry whispered back. The 3 waited for hours until they heard footsteps.

"Hello?, are the friends of Caroline Serrano.", a male voice says to them.
"Yes. Yes we are.", Oliver says as Barry wakes Shaina up.
"My name is Dr.Flynn. And well, it seems like Caroline critically fractured her ankle as you can see in this x-ray picture here.", Dr.Flynn said as he held out a x-ray picture.
"Would she need to stay here at the hospital doctor?", Oliver said as he looked at the picture.
"Uh yes, we need to get her ankles in a cast, so that her ankle can heal.", Dr, Flynn said as Shaina started to wake up. Before Oliver can say another thing, Shaina said, "Can we see her?".
"Yeah of course, but she is unconscious.", Dr.Flynn said as Shaina started to stand up.
"What room number is she? Where is she?", Shaina said with determination.
"She in room 341", Dr. Flynn said as he checked his clipboard.
"Could you take us there.", Oliver said.
"Yes. Come along now.", Dr.Flynn said as he signaled Barry,Oliver, and Shaina with a "follow me" hand motion. Barry followed Shaina and held her hand as they walked to room 341.

In the hospital room, Oliver was the first to be at Caroline's bed. He again, moved hair out of her face.
"You'll be okay..", Oliver said as he cupped Caroline's cheek with his hand. Shaina came up to Caroline and noticed her hand shimmering.

(A/N : Sorry that I haven't updated for days. I have gotten lazy. So I have changed my updating schedule to updating every other day. So, bare with me. And comment what you would like to happen between Oliver and Caroline, since i'm running out of ideas!)
