Fairest of Them All

Long ago in a Cabin in the deepest point of the deepest forest a young girl was in labor...

"Your going to be fine."  Drew rasped nervously, this was all his fault, he was the one who fell in love with Erin she never wanted forbidden love in her life, she was destined for greatness he took that away, she was and Alpha's daughter she was to be an Alpha herself but he had to go and fall in love when he was only a rouge  .

"Just breathe. It's going to be okay." shortly after a scream of pain echoed through the small room. Drew grasped onto her hand "I don't know if she will, she bleeding badly." Carter said, Carter was

Drew's best friend, he was a Pack Medic, he was able to deliver the baby, privately, they had no chance of having the baby at the Pack Camp.

Drew looked panicked "What do you mean she might not make it!?" He demeaned Erin screamed, she was in too much pain to hear them. Drew tucked Erin's curly golden hair out of her face, Erin's eyes snapped open, a deep searing pain visible in her hazel eyes "You're going to be just fine you and the baby."  soon a soft crying filled the air.

Carter wrapped up a small baby girl in a cloth and handed her to Drew, A wide smile broke across his face "She's beautiful, just like you." He said planting a quick kiss on Erin's soft pale lips.

Drew's sweaty brown hair dripped in front of his eyes as he looked down at his small child, he couldn't keep away his happiness, this child had shared the same grey eyes that he had along with the darker skin he had, but she still had the golden color of her mother's hair

"Now we're perfect, you, me and the baby."

"You might want to change that to babies." Carter said as another cry rattled through the air and another baby girl was placed into the lap pf Erin, a weak smile slipped across Erin's face, as she looked upon the second daughter, this time she had her father's darker hair but her mother's pale skin and presumably hazel eyes

 "W-what shall we name them?"  she said. Drew looked down st the first child in his arms, taking in all of her features "We should call the oldest Alfia, it means fair." he said "Her sister could be called..." "Aselma." he was cut off by Erin "It also means fair, two names meaning fair, so they shall be the fairest of them all." she said, sighing shortly afterward.

 Carter looked concerned he looked up at Erin he opened his mouth to speak but  never said anything "Don't say it."  she said "I know I am dying, just bury me next to the weeping willow in the Camp of my Pack, I loved to read there when I was a child."

Drew looked over at Erin "No... You aren't dying, stay with me, a-and Alfia and Aselma." he stuttered "I can't avoid it, it's my time, just make sure our daughters are safe and..." she rasped lifting her head "And and a I will always love..." Erin's head fell down to the pillow, a long breath slipped out of her mouth, a second breath never came. Drew set down Alfia "No! No No No!" He shouted placing his hand on her neck. Drew swallowed hard "No pulse." he choked  

Carter pulled the blanket up over Erin's head "Drew I'm so sorry." he said sorrowfully, "As long as you care for the twins I'm sure she'll always be with you." Drew grabbed his two daughters "Yeah I'll make sure they have a good life."

Drew walked out the door and into the woods he stopped halfway to rub a little dirt to them make them seem abandoned, make them seem like they hadn't been loved, at least not by him, he walked on to the Camp of Erin's Pack he knocked on the door, he told them he was a traveler, he had found these two babies and asked to stay be a member of their Pack.

Drew stayed with them for weeks but he couldn't make a very good father, he decided he had one choice to give them a good life, it was for the best. one night after everyone was sleeping he placed the two girls in a baby carrier with a little note attached  to it and he took them to an Orphanage and left them there. "It's for the best." Drew said to himself walking away "It's for the best." He said again, a small tear gliding down his face as he walked away stiffly into the darkness
