Aslema's POV
I looked onward to the Teacher, class was almost over, I was taking notes carefully listening close leaning forward. Soon a loud RIIING echoed through the class, everyone started to gather their stuff and bolt out the door I finished writing down my notes and slowly stood up and picked up my stuff, I placed my books into my floral backpack, ajusted my headband and walked outside. I took a deep breath and started to walk to the Bus Stop.
The weather was warming up but I was and wasn't looking forward to the summer, my birthday was upcoming but summer in Phoenix Arizona, sucked curse my Dad's job. I arrived at the Bus Stop and climbed aboard, paying my fair and taking my seat. I glanced out the window then looked back, I had been down the road to my house so many time I could say it by memory.
The Bus stopped and I walked outside waving goodbye to the driver I walked a little farther and I soon came upon a tan house with a dead grass on the front lawn. Yup that's where I live I strolled inside relived by the AC. I walked upstairs. No one was home yet, Mom was most likely working in the Studio up in town, my Dad was probably at the office, and my sisters were out at swim practice or cheer squad, I don't know they never say where they go. Typical 16 year olds. I dropped my back on my dresser and I grabbed my notebook and started to write.
After 2 and 1/2 hours of writing and being alone I set my notebook down and walked downstairs I walked into my backyard and I looked up, I love my Tree-house. I climbed the rope and crawled inside. My Dad built this as soon as we moved into this house he wanted me to have fun, kinda. It wasn't the best house but it never fell down to I sat up there with my legs hanging off the edge of the platform. I spent my thinking time out here. I lied down on the floor of the wooden house and I stared at the ceiling, gosh I love being outside. I loved it more at night, and even more than that when the moon was full. I don't know what it was I just like it, I would always put up a fight when I had to go inside. My Mom always joked I was a Werewolf.
I jerked awake realizing I had fallen asleep and the sun was setting. Well, I was going to be having the worse time falling asleep tonight. I realized what had awoken me was my Mom calling me in for dinner. I climbed down and walked inside after we ate I walked up to my Room and slept, sorta.
I woke up and stretched got dressed and grabbed my bag before remembering it was summer. I dropped my bag and headed downstairs and walked outside, I went down the street and into the Corner Store at the end of my street, I strolled in and said hi to Joanne "Hello Aslema" She said to me "Hello Joanne." I said waving back, I walked to the back of the store, I had come into the place a lot. Mostly in summer.
I bought a pack of gum and walked out, I took the bus into town and walked up to the Library, I opened the door to the big building and breathed in the smell of books, I wandered through the maze of shelves, until I found a book. It was about a girl who realized she was a werewolf, I leafed through it, I laughed it was crazy, werewolves aren't real. But I liked the book, I checked it out and walked home I sat down with the book and began to read.
I read the whole book, it was that good! I was always a book reader, but it had been a while since I read a good one. I returned the book the next day and checked out other books in the 'Werewolf' Section, I got quite a few and I went home. Just before the sunset
I went out to my Tree-House and sat down with a book, I just feel into a tunnel of reading, and it felt good to be reading again. I noticed no one was home anymore, I walked inside and turned on the TV, as fate would have it a werewolf movie was playing. I watched it. The whole thing. I then went back to the Library and checked out everything related to the werewolf, I went back home and just watched.
I awoke to the light of day, I looked around to see what was around me, DVD cases, DVD cases everywhere, I cleaned up and ate breakfast. This summer is starting well. I went outside for a walk around the Neighborhood, I thought about my new strange obsession, I thought about my plans for this summer I thought about a lot, I usually do. After 3 hours and a loooong walk I got back home just in time to eat with my family. I feel asleep with a book about a girl and a werewolf on my chest, like I had been lately. I looked out the window without an idea of what to do this day I just knew it would be a good day today.
