Kara's P.O.V
~2 months later~
- "Kara!" A voice screamed, but it seemed inaudible to the ringing in my ears and the pain in my body. "Kara! C'mon! Something's wrong with the power! Everything is shutdown! Your not stuck in the damn chair!" My eyes opened, or they seemed open. It was dark, and dew to the fact that I couldn't feel much of anything, x-ray vision wasn't working."Kara! We're getting out!" And with that, my head swung to the side as I was hoisted onto, as I can only guess, Mon-El's shoulder.
I was bouncing around a little, I think he was running, and he wasn't very strong at the moment either, so super speed wasn't in use right now.
He threw the door to the room we had been in for the past two months, open. The hallways were dark, the power must have shut off. Maybe to electrical problems or a storm. I couldn't care less. My body ached and all I wanted was to be in a bathtub to be honest. My hair was a knotted mess, I felt sticky and gross, and the suit made me want to vomit.
"Stay with me Kara!" Mon-El's voice rang through my ears, I attempted to keep my eyes open, but I couldn't. That is, until, gun shots and feet thumping rang through the halls.
The body I was being carried by, swung to the right, and the noise caused me to jerk awake. I had vision of behind Mon-El, to the right of his arm. I had now noticed I was being carried bridal style.
Green lights and red laser sights were bouncing around the halls from the running people.
A sudden edge of adrenaline hit me and I pried myself from Mon-El's arms and started running with him.
We turned left as a grey cement wall came into view, my strength was slowly regenerating as I was no longer locked under Kryptonite enforced bars.
A opening was seen, it was slightly lit up, but not by much. As we drew closer, stairs were led upwards, and I didn't think twice about jumping up them three at a time.
It was like hotel stairs, you go up like ten and than turn, up ten stairs, and turn. I kept wondering where it led, were we so far under ground to a point where we had to climb this many stairs to get to the surface? Or were we going into the sky to a point where we'd be cornered?
The scenery around us became brighter and brighter as we went up, it was dark at the top but it was definitely lighting up the stair case.
The top was getting closer and closer, and feet thumping filled the tall tower of stairs. All of the people behind us were in black gear, as usual, and guns in hands, but none of them could see as they were all being trampled by each other.
One more turn and your out. Hopefully.
I turned to the right, jumping up the stairs like they were nothing, ignoring the pain that was plowing through my body, we were on top of a roof.
"Kara! Can you fly?" I didn't have time to look at Mon-El, he had already clung to me and threw us off the roof.
"What the hell?" I screamed, the feeling I hadn't had for a while, but as if on instinct, I started to levitate.
Mon-El's nervous laughter filled the cold, night air. "See! I-" breathe "knew you could do it." Mon-El yelled.
I had no clue where we were.
{Sorry for the short chapter, I've just been busy. (Busy consisting of sleeping and binge watching Supernatural) don't judge mates. Anyway, the next one will be up by next week.}
