The Beginning

"Home sweet home!" Leigh exclaimed as she entered their new home. Today marks a new beginning for her and her friends. They will live under the same roof for a year or two.

"Oh, tone down a volume, Leigh." Tiara said as she followed Leigh inside their new home.

"Shut up, Tiara. You're ruining the moment." Leigh retorted.

"Moment? What moment?" Tiara raised her eyebrows at Leigh. "Anyway, where are they? They're supposed to be here by now."

"Oh, Bonnie called. She said she's taking Dylan and Alex to buy some food and stuffs." Leigh answered as she made her way upstairs to organize her things.

Their new house has 6 bedrooms upstairs and each has its own bathroom. After they bought the house, they made some rules. The house is fully-furnished and all they had to do was to bring their clothes and important things with them.

Leigh and Tiara have finished unpacking by the time Bonnie, Alex and Dylan arrived.

"Would you mind helping us with these?" Bonnie asked them when she saw them sprawling in the couch. "We still have to unpack our things, too."

"Ugh," Leigh groaned as she took the groceries from Bonnie. "Did you buy me some chocolates?"

"Nope but Dylan did." Bonnie answered Leigh. She noticed that Leigh blushed with that information but she pretended not to notice it. She doesn't want to embarrass Leigh since she's being diligent.

"Oh." Leigh whispered. Bonnie couldn't help but chuckle at Leigh's reaction.

"What?" Leigh glared at her.

Bonnie shook her head. "Nothing. Hey, are you done unpacking?" She asked, trying to change the subject.

"Yeah."

"Good for you." Bonnie was busy stacking their cabinets and Leigh was busy with munching some Ruffles.

"Tiara!" Bonnie called from the kitchen.

"What?!" Tiara answered back.

"Can you come in here for a second?!"

"What?" Tiara asked Bonnie. She tried to take some Ruffles when Leigh hit her hand. "Hey! Give me some!"

"No, this is mine!" Leigh stuck her tongue at Tiara and left the kitchen.

Bonnie tsked in reproach. "Seriously, Leigh's being childish again. Anyway, Tiara, can you cook the dinner for tonight?"

"Yeah sure. Is that all?" Tiara asked absentmindedly.

"Yes. I'm almost done in here anyway. Where are Alex and Dylan?"

"Outside. Dylan said something about some basketball court just near the park. Maybe they went there."

"Darn those two. We're not even done in here."

Tiara laughed. "Seriously, B, what do you expect? It's Alex and Dylan we're talking in here. The two laziest guys that ever existed in this planet and probably in the entire universe."

Bonnie sighed in defeat. Tiara's right. "How's you and Alex, anyway?"

"What about me and Alex?" Tiara asked her.

Bonnie raised her eyebrow at Tiara. "You're seriously asking me that question? I heard about what happened during the prom. Leigh told me. Besides, he's my brother."

Tiara shrugged. "You should go and ask him. I don't know what the problem is."

They left the kitchen and Bonnie went upstairs to unpack. Leigh was busy watching 90210 and Tiara was reading a Nicholas Sparks novel.

Leigh was too absorbed watching 90210 when Dylan sat beside her.

"You're watching that again?" Dylan asked her.

"Isn't it obvious?" Leigh rolled her eyes at him. "Hey, thanks for the chocolates, anyway."

"No problem, kiddo." Dylan smiled at her which made her heart thump.

Leigh diverted her attention back to the show. She must not let Dylan distract her. She pretended to drool over Matt Lanter's hot body.

"Hey guys, what do you want for dinner? I'm cooking." Tiara interrupted their silent-and-not-so-awkward moment.

"Steak-" Leigh was cut-off by Alex, who stood by the door wearing his infamous smirk.

"You're cooking? Then I should pray."

"Why is that?" Tiara faced him with her eyebrows furrowed.

"For us to survive whatever you're going to cook." Alex answered.

Tiara went to where he was standing and smacked his head. "You jerk!" Then Tiara stormed off to the kitchen.

Leigh and Dylan just laughed at their live show. The TIALEX Lover's Quarrel. They're used to it. Not a day goes by that Alex would annoy Tiara and Tiara would hit him.

"Where's Bonnie?" Alex asked them.

"Upstairs." Leigh answered him. Alex proceeded upstairs which leaves Leigh and Dylan at the entertainment room. Talk about awkward silence.
