Many things happened after their Karaoke Night. Tiara and Alex sort out their issues and they are now exclusively dating. So much for the enemies-turned-lovers cliche.
"B, can I ask a favor?" Dylan asked Bonnie as she entered the house, with groceries at hand. She handed the groceries to Dylan.
"What?" She asked him as they made their way to the kitchen.
She saw Dylan fidget and scratch his head, a habit he always do whenever he is anxious or nervous. She raised an eyebrow at him.
"Ugh. Never mind." Dylan said as he unload the paper bags.
"Er, you sure about that? It seems like you need my help. Whatever that favor your asking is."
Dylan nodded.
"Where are the others?" Bonnie asked Dylan.
"Tiara and Alex went on a date, I think. Leigh is out, she'll be back before dinner." Dylan answered her.
Bonnie groaned. Ever since the Karaoke incident, Tiara and Alex became inseparable. From enemies to loves. How cliche.
They went to the entertainment room to watch a movie after they unloaded the groceries. They decided to want Insidious. They were concentrating on the movie when Bonnie broke the silence.
"I saw Jake earlier."
Dylan glanced at her. "And? Did you two talked?"
Bonnie shook her head. "I don't think he saw me. He was... busy."
Dylan raised his eyebrow. "Busy?" He asked Bonnie, confusion is written all over his face.
"He was with her." Bonnie answered. Her voice broke. Dylan sighed and went to sit beside her. He placed his arm around her and pulled her closer. He heard Bonnie sob. Their moment of silence was interrupted by a phone call.
Bonnie wiped her tears as she gave her phone to Dylan. Her eyes pleading that he answer the call. He stood up to answer the call after he checked the caller ID.
"B?"
"Leigh, this is Dylan."
"Oh. Where is she?"
"Cooking dinner. What time will you be back?"
"Perfect timing. Hey, can you tell Bonnie that I have invited a guest over for dinner tonight?"
"Sure thing."
"Thanks, Dyl."
Leigh hung up and Dylan returned Bonnie's phone.
"Leigh said she invited someone for dinner." Dylan informed Bonnie. "Are you okay now?" They decided to stop watching the Insidious.
"Yes. Thanks for the shoulder, Dyl. I feel a little better now." Bonnie smiled at him. "Who's the guest?"
Dylan shrugged. "I don't know. What's for dinner, anyway?"
"Just some salad and pasta. I'm not in the mood to cook something fancy or what. Besides, there are still some leftovers that we could reheat. And I could use some help, you know. You can take care of the salad and I'll handle the pasta." Bonnie grinned at him.
Dylan nodded and started working on the salad while Bonnie started on the pasta. At exactly 7 o'clock, they were done making their dinner. They were now waiting for the others.
~~~
"We're home!" Tiara and Alex chorused.
"How's your date?" Dylan asked the newly-arrived couple. He fist bumped Alex and messed Tiara's hair.
