The next morning....
Dean wakes up to find sunlight streaming through the curtains. Sam comes through the door holding two cups of steaming coffee. "Morning sunshine." He holds one out to Dean.

"Mm hmm morning Sammy," Dean says groggily, getting out of bed. He runs his hands through his hair and accepts the coffee cup.
Sam goes to the table and sits, typing on his laptop.

"Any new leads?" Dean yawns.

"Not really. Though I've been thinking, if this is a frost giant, can't we torch it? I mean, fire plus ice equals puddle, no more frost giant."

"I don't know Sam. I couldn't sleep for a while last night so I did a little research after you dozed off. Plenty of gods and creatures alike have tried to go up against Utgard-Loki and they've rarely succeeded. We're just "mere mortals" remember? I don't think a little heat will get rid of him," Dean remarks.

"Well then how do we get rid of it if we can't kill it?" Sam ponders the thought while pacing. "You know what? I'll call Bobby, see if he knows anything about frost giants and Utgard-Loki."

"Okay, I'm gonna go to the local library, see if I can pick up anything there. After I take a shower."

Sam picks up his phone and dials Bobby's number.
"Hi Bobby."

Dean is sitting at a table at the library with a few books piled around him. Sam walks up behind him. "Find anything helpful?"

"Not a thing. You?" Dean flips through a few more pages, skimming.

"Well Bobby sa-"

"Found something!" Dean interrupts. He points to a caption.

"Great heat will cause the Frost Giants to 'melt'. Continued exposure to heat would cause a Frost Giant to melt completely. This is it." Sam reads and grins, "I guess all that 'research' that you did last night wasn't good enough."

"Last night's research was good," Dean says gruffly, " But I've been here for five hours without a break and the librarians are sooooo not hot!" Sam smiles.

"What'd Bobby have to say?" Dean asks.

"Not much. But he said that no hunter has ever gone up against Utgard-Loki or at least that he knows of. And he says to be careful."

"Okay. Let me try calling Cas again just to make sure he can't help us." Dean closes his eyes, "Cas, get your feathery ass down here." He opens one eye and looks around. Then he gets out his phone and dials a number.

This is my voicemail. Please make your voice a mail

Dean sighs, disappointed.
"Guess it's just you and me," Sam notes.

"Yeah," Dean sighs again.

"Well, I have an idea," Sam replies, "Utgard-Loki is a frost giant right?"

"Right," Dean replies, wetting his lips with his tongue.

"So wouldn't he have to stay someplace cold around here?"

"Yeah," Dean grabs Sam's laptop and pounds on the keys. After a minute he turns the laptop to Sam. "So I got a few locations. There's a meat packing company and a random warehouse that was pre-paid to be kept almost as cold as a winter in the Arctic."

"Warehouse," they say simultaneously.
