chapter 01 -   first impressions
ANALIA

I'm lost.

This school is so huge and I don't even see a single person in sight. I've been wandering around the past five minutes and I'm already late to my first class. All I see are the same trees and benches and not the building I was looking for on the this big campus.

'I swear I just passed that tree...or maybe not... I don't know!'

A few minutes later of me arguing with myself like a crazy person I see my building number and started running towards the building when someone bumps right into me.

And let me tell you, it felt like a huge boulder just hit me across the face, "Uh...are you okay?"

I regain my balance and look up at the guy with dark hair and small eyes, furious and I yelled, "What the hell, what... what are you even made of!"

"Didn't see you there, I swear you weren't there a second ago..."

I give him the most bewildered expression and he shows no emotion. I stood there wondering how he didn't see me and wondered if he was blind. A few seconds later I opened the door and went my way, leaving him outside not wanting to deal with him.

I walked down the long hall and then looked up at the descending room numbers. I look behind me to see the guy from before talking on the phone and noticed he was angry. I also noticed he didn't come to school with a backpack and he was dressed too well. I turned back around and continued down the empty hall.

"136....137....138....139." I stopped in front of the room and double check if it was the write room based on the paper I had in my hands. I opened the door to the classroom and you probably guessed it already, all eyes turned on me.

I smile sheepishly at everyone and close the door behind me, which miraculously slams when I tried my best not to. I turn around wide eyed to make eye contact with the teacher. He furrows his eyebrows at me and clenches his jaw while gesturing at one of the only two seats left in the room, which was in the back of the class next to a girl with her head down. I make my way there quickly not wanting to disrupt the lesson even further.

I take a seat and place my bag next to me. I eye the girl next to me who is still asleep and the empty seat beside me and then back up front to find a few people turning around with shocked eyes. I give them all confused looks and decide to ignore them when they continue staring.

"Young girl meet me after class to receive your detention slip, I do not appreciate tardiness." the teacher gets cut off by someone opening the door and slamming it behind them, it was the same guy who bumped into me.
