Why Didn't I Die?

Chapter Three: Liar

Elizabeth's P.O.V

Why is he here? Why would he care to come? He was a big part of my suicide.

"Baby girl, are you okay?" my father asked. He started to come closer.

"DON'T COME NEAR ME!!!" I yelled, although I was still quiet because of my dry throat, it was louder than last time.

"Please, I'm sorry Elizabeth." my father said, if I should even call him my father.

Does he suspect me to forgive him? For all of those years where he'd beat me and shun me? HELL NO OLD MAN!

"Sir you need to leave please." a doctor said, trying to push my dad out.

"NO! That's my daughter! I will see her if I please!" he yelled. I winced, his yelling is making my head spin.

"Please leave, all of your yelling is not helping her at the moment." a different doctor stated.

All 5 people in the room weren't even looking at me, which I find funny because I'm the one who someone should be watching. The door once again was slammed, but this time it was slammed shut, signaling my "father" was gone. they all went back to me, asking me questions, stuff like that.

"Could I please have water?"

I asked.

"Oh! Sure honey, we're so sorry we forgot to give that to you." the only female doctor said.

She opened the door, I'm assuming to go get me some water when that same smell hit me. That oh so delicious manly forest smell. It kind of smell like the smell you smell after it rains, with a forest smell combine. It's honestly a heavenly smell. Wow, I'm using smell ALOT! Wait...why is my "mate" here. He's not a very good one. My wolf whimpered in my head, as I did to. The smell was getting stronger and stronger. Now I can't move, so he is coming to me. My heart is racing and the doctors can tell because my heart rate monitor thingy was beeping a mile per second.

Seconds later the woman came back in with someone hot on her trail. Lucas...what the hell?!?! Two people who don't give a damn about me, are the first people I see that I know. Like WTF?

"Here's your water sweetheart, sorry doctor, I could keep this one out." she said referring to Lucas.

"Son, what are you doing here?" one if the doctors asked.

Son? Huh, I didn't know that Lucas's father was the pack doctor. Well, his pack doctor, mine is Alpha Nicholas's dad, weird.

"I'm here to..uh...well I'm here to...ummmm....see Elizabeth?"

He said...as a question.

What a dick, comes in here to "see me" and isn't even nice enough to call me his mate.

"And why's that Lucas? Last I remembered you rejected me." I spoke loudly since I drank some water.

Everyone was silent and looked at me. All with sympathy. Except for Lucas's dad, and Lucas himself. His dad looked angry while Lucas just looked....sad? I think that's wrong though.

"YOU REJECTED HER!!! WHAT HAVE YOUR MOTHER AND I TAUGHT YOU, NEVER REJECT YOUR MATE!!! AND LOOK WHATCHA DID!!!!" His father yelled, making my head spin.

"doctor, please don't yell." I said dizzily.

"Oh, sorry honey. I'm just angry with my jackass of a son." he said through clenched teeth while hitting Lucas's head in the process.

He winced and it hurt me a little, but serves him right for rejecting me. He's a complete douche-bag. A hot douche-bag. My wolf howled. Eww. You're gross. She just laughed in response.

"I swear I never meant to hurt you, I didn't know you were so troubled." Lucas said coming near me.

I growled. "Of course you wouldn't because you are to caught up in your own little world of popularity and sluts that you wouldn't notice the little troubled girl standing in the shadows!"

so many emotions flashed across his face. Hurt, regret, sadness, confusion, and then anger. I understand the reasons for all of them except anger. Why was he angry at me, he's the one who rejected me, not the other way around.

"The girls in my group are not sluts, so don't take your anger out on them and don't call my friends sluts." he growled.

"PLEASE!!! I can smell one of them on you. What, were you stressed so you had to fuck someone to get your mind off of me?" i asked calmly when inside i was boiling with rage! How dare they touch what is ours, i will rip them limb from limb! my wolf growled. When I looked back up at Lucas I totally saw that I busted him. I knew he couldn't stay away from those sluts.

"Oh and just so you know, your sluts..i mean friends bully me all the time. they don't care and I hope that you can tell them about your visit so they feel as guilty as you for my suicide!" i spit

I saw him looking at the ground, then he looked up with a smirk on his stupid but perfect face. "Attempt" was all he said.

"What"

"I said attempt, you are still here, so it was an attempt at suicide, and I saved you." he said still smirking. this time it was my turn to smirk.

"there's a little poem that i made up, would you like to hear it? oh of course you would, here it goes."

"I want to die. So please don't save me. But if you do, i'll never forgive you."

"I saved you because i love you!" he shouted. I was flabbergasted. He couldn't mean that, he just rejected me, you can't love someone if you just rejected them.

"Liar! You can't love me because you just rejected me. Quit lying! I hate liars and i really hate you. Just leave you liar. I never want to see you stupid, perfect, lying face ever again!!! I wan't you out of this hospital and out of my life!" I yelled so loud that my head started spinning. Whoa, my head is really spinning. I fell back onto my pillows adn let the darkness consume me whole. I just want to get out of this hell hole and maybe the moon godess will finally let me leave without any help form unwanted people.

I heard muffles of voices while i was in the darkness, but soon, everything around me went away. No sound, no sight, so feeling. Maybe I finally am free from the hell hole they call Earth.
