"Hurry up man!" I said while running to the school building "we only have 5 minutes!"
"Calm down Mercy!" Tiana said trying to catch up with me
"It's the first day and I don't wanna get a detention!" I quickly ran inside the building and went to the office to get my planner and my locker number
"Bye guys see you after registration!" we all said our good byes and went in different directions
After registration we met up and found our lockers
"Hey look we're all next to each other again!" Shakira said
"Nooo!!!" I and Tiana said at the same time
"What do you mean no?" a confused Shakira asked
"You always end up taking ours anyway" I said
"Is it a crime to ask my best friends for locker space?" She asked
"YES!" I and Tiana all but shouted
"KMT" (Kiss My Teeth) Shakira rolled her eyes
"Eeerrr, look it's the neeks" Trey said while making his way over to us with his two best friends; Jacob and Raquan
"Allow it. Have you even looked in the mirror lately" I said screwing my cousin
"What's happening to your eyes fam?!" Trey said looking at me "little cuz, don't get bright"
"KMT" I said looking away
"LOOOL" Tiana said. "The way you two argue is just jokes"
"Ahlie!" Raquan said "and they go on forever!"
"Yea. Remember that time when Mercy started school in year seven and he ate her chicken, that argument only ended last week!" Jacob said laughing at the memory. I just stood there and screwed what was on its way. Dominica. Jacobs's girlfriend. I hated her with so much passion. So did Tiana. Shakira, Raquan and Trey. Even Jacob hated her. Why was he with her you ask? Simple. To stay popular. Dating the head cheerleader when you're the star basketball player just boosts up your popularity
"Hey babe!" Dominica said in her high-pitched voice. Jacob quickly looked at me before hugging Dominica.
"Hey b. You iyte?" he responded
"Yea I'm great." she said. She screwed me before saying hi to everyone else. While Jacob and Dominica conversed there was just an awkward silence between everyone else. The bell rang indicating that it was time for first period. By then \Dominica was long gone I opened the sheet of paper given to me in registration and compared it to Shakira and Tirana's:

In our school, for some reason the year 9's had PE with the year 10's.
"Wow. Most of our classes are the same." I said going over the time table again.
"Look, God has blessed me with 3 PE lessons." Jacob said.
"Not really." I said. He looked confused "Shakira is in them too." I said going over the time table again.
"Noo! You're terrible at sports!" Tiana commented
"Nah allow it Tia. She ain't that bad." Trey said.
