Chapter 4

Dear Diary:

Ever since I've texted him he won't stop talking to me. He considers me to be his SBF (Secret Best Friend). He still doesn't know that I'm the girl he's looking for. Also that I'm very like him. He asks him to find her but every girl I try to set him up with he tells me its not her. So I just need to know that he "finds her" after a while. I'm not sure if I should tell him but if I tell him it will damage my relationship with him. I think I'm gonna tell him at the final of the school year and move to another school " m ml nbut first I have to talk to my parents and I don't talk to them a lot. Wish me luck. 😁

After I wrote in my diary I hid it and went downstairs. Mom and Dad were cooking and my little sister was being super annoying. I asked "whens dinner?" mom put the steak beside the mashed potato and said "right now everybody sit down". I went to my seat which is in front of my sister. Mom brought the food and sat down. Dad brought the drinks and sat down. We sad a little prayer and started eating. After 5 minutes Mom told Dad "I can't hold it back anymore you should tell them". He said "ok I'll them."

"Well girls I've been offered a promotion" said my Dad.

My little sister Katy started yelling and screamimg yes and random stuff.

My mom then told my sister in a calm voice "let him finish".

"Sorry" said my sister.

"Well anyways I was saying about my promotion its in a different state we wouldn't be living in California anymore we would have to move to New York" said my dad.

Everyone was waiting for my reaction. I told my dad the only I could do.

"Dad you should take the promotion I won't be mad".

Everyone was shocked. They thought I was going to argue with them. The rest of the dinner went pretty quiet. When we all finished dad said "I will tell my boss that I accept the promotion tommorow".

After Dinner I took a shower put my pajama's. I went downstairs to drink milk but my parents wanted to talk to me.

"Are you really fine with me taking this promotion" said Dad.

I told him "its ok don't worry but when would you change your job".

"I'd change job in Summer so you stay in your school until the end of the school year" said my Dad.

"Ok well if you don't mind I'm going to sleep" I told my dad.

I went upstairs and I went to sleep.
