Dear Diary:

Well its sunday and we went to church. After we went to church my mom said we were going to visit Grandpa and Grandma.

I changed my church clothes into some casual comfy clothes. Mom said all our family was going to be there.

We arrived and everyone was their. All of my aunts and uncles from my mothers side were here. She has a lot of sisters and brother. They are a total of 7 kids. She is the smallest. My cousins were there. Most of them are about my age but there are some that are my little sister Clara's age.

We got out of the car and I said hello to my grandfather, grandma, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Then after saying hello to everyone I went to Paul. He's my favorite cousin. He has brown hair, green eyes, and freckles.

We started talking about everything and pulling pranks on people. People that were passing along the house we yelled at. We yelled at the "FREE CAR WASH" and then we hid through the bushes. I know that was pretty lame but if you could see their faces of confusion.

In the bushes we started talking about everything. We remembered that this was our hiding spot when we were little. I told him about my crush and what I should do. He told me that I should tell him.

He told me he had a crush on a girl from school. Her name was Mellissa. He described her to me as tall but not as tall as him, blue eyes, brown long hair, and skinny.

He told me that she was shy and that he had a secret admirer and he knew it was her. He told me that he had his friend be like a private investigator to verify who it was. He told me it was her and he didn't know what to do.

I told him that next time you leave your locker stay close so you can confront her. He said he would do it next time.

After a while of talking our parents were looking for us. We split and went to our parents. Our parents were talking. Paul's mom is my mom's sister. They get along very well but it was time to eat dinner.

We all sat in our grandma's big table. Since were a big family we had to take three tables. One for the adults, the other one for the teenagers, and one for the little kids.

From the teenager's table I could see that the adults were fighting or something like that. I told one of my cousins to go over there.

He told me they were fighting over heritage. I asked if my mom and dad were in it. He shaked his head signaling to no.

I finished eating and came up to me and said "we need to leave". I agreed and went to take my sister. She didn't want to leave. I told her mom ordered it and she stood up. I said goodbye to Paul and my grandparents. We got in the car and drove off.

In the car I asked mom why were you guys fighting and she said "well grandma and grandpa are dying and they were all discussing over who was going to get what". I just kepting them "if you guys could still live". They just said they had terminal cancer. I just kept asking myself "why both and Im going to investigate if that really happened".

We arrived home it was very late. We all tooka shower and went to sleep.

Author's Note

I liked this chapter a little bit but not that much. I wanted this big family secret to happen or something but I didn't have an idea so I just put this in.

Comment if I made any grammar mistake.
