Chapter 13

2/17/14

Dear Diary:

Today I woke up super early. I lived not very far from my grandpa and grandma it would take half an hour to get to my house from school. Also school was a 15 or 10 minute drive. I was taking my license out soon but my dad picked me up.

I told my goodbye's to grandma, grandpa and Paul. He promised me he would not burn the kitchen. I laughed. I already dressed for school but I needed to do my hair. My hair isn't difficult. It is straight but it does have a lot of knots. I brushed it in the car. I put my contacts on.

We arrived to school super early so I could use the bathroom and do my rest of my routine. I put my make up some but not a lot. I always go for a natural look.

I left the bathroom and headed to my first class. Class was going to start in 15 minutes. I decided to text Zoey. She didn't respond. Five minutes passed and X was sitting next to me.

I was using my phone when he started talking to me.

"Hey why are you here so early" he said.

"Why can't I be here early" I said.

Because your you he said.

Ok then if I must say my dad brought me here because I was staying with my grandparents because their sick.

"What I didn't know I'm sorry are they okay" he said.

"I don't know my mom won't say and I'm scared" I said. My mascara started running and went to the bathroom. I locked myself in the bathroom and texted Zoey.

Start of text.

Me: Zo are you here in school? If you are please come to the bathroom.

Zoey: Yeah I just arrived I'm comin. Are you all right.

Me: No Zo I'm having a meltdown. Knock 3 times and kick the door so I can open you.

End of text.

I send that to her and then I heard the knock and kicks. I opened the door to realize that it wasn't Zo. It was X. He came rushing after me. He entered and I pushed him outside. I didn't want to see him. I saw Zoey was texting and running after me. I locked the door again and waited for Zoey.

Zoey did the knock and I heard her voice. I opened and she went to me. I locked the door after her.

I told what happened. She helped me clean up. I walked to my class. I was 30 minutes late. I didn't say anything and went to my seat.

Nothing else really important happened after this. No actually yeah. I got home and changed. Zoey told me she was going to the mall. She asked if I wanted to go and I told her I didn't want to.

I took my notes from school and started studying. The bell rang and I went to get since I was home alone. X was in the door. He was looking at me with my comfy clothes, glasses, and books in hand. He gasped. I shut the door innhis face and changed really fast.

He was still out there. I took one of my potions that could erase a little bit of memory. I went towards him and said "sorry I'm an actress and I wanted to put myself into character for the science project". He understanded and nodded. I told him if he could try this potion that is supposed to not make you taste anything.

He agreed and started drinking it. He forgot what happened and I told him that you came because I had a book you needed for your project. I gave him one of my favorite books. I was going to sob because of that but I holded it in.

That pretty much sums up my day. It was a very close one. I would like to put some quotes to end this. So lets see. One of my favorite is of The Fault in Our Stars.

You don't get to choose if you get hurt in this world but you do have a say in who hurts you.
