Chapter: Eight

"I'm freaking out, man..." Aaron mumbled into dante's pillow.
"It's going to be ok! If you dont wanna go... I could always go instea-" Travis's comment was immediately cut off by a pillow slamming into his face.
"No" Aaron glared.

Dante rolled on the floor in a fit of laughter.
"What do i even say!" Aaron groaned.
"Tell her she looks nice then boom... conversation STARTED!" Zane said as he finished off his cupcake.
"When's the last time you've been on a date, Zane?" Vylad asked causing zane to nearly choke on his second cupcake.
"U-Uh... pffff, like... last, urm..." zane trailed off.
"Never. He's never been on a date" Garroth deadpanned.

"You'll be fine, dude!" Laurance gave him a reassuring pat on his back.
"You're right! I can do this!" Aaron stood up and walked out the door towards his house.
"Where'd that sudden boost of confidence come from?" Vylad asked in confusion.

Meanwhile, Aphmau was sitting on Cadenza's bed.
"Here! You can wear this!" Cadenza said as she handed Aphmau some clothes.
"Go try them on Aphmau Senpai!" KawaiiChan said.

Aphmau walked into cadenza's bathroom and changed. She walked back out.
"Perfect!" Cadenza exclaimed. Aphmau had on a black off the shoulder top and some white shorts.

Cadenza curled her hair then applied a little bit of mascara and lipstick.
"Are you ready for your date?" Katelyn asked.
"I-I dont know... what do i say? I've never been on a date before! Is it even a date!?" Aphmau asked.
"Just say what you normally say around him! And trust me, it's a date" Nicole said, smiling reassuringly.

Lucinda looked at her watch.
"It's almost time-" Lucinda was cut off by the doorbell ringing. KawaiiChan squeeled.
"Aaron kun's here Aphmau senpai!!" KawaiiChan pushed Aphmau towards the door. Aphmau opened it and there stood Aaron.

He had on a nice white shirt and some jeans. He had a bouquet of lilac flowers, the same ones Aphmau got from the grocery store. A faint blush appeared on his cheeks once he saw her.

"Hey aph! You ready?" He smiled. Aphmau nodded her head then stepped outside.
"MAKE SURE SHE'S BACK HERE BY TEN! IF NOT THEN I-" Cadenza quickly shut the door before Katelyn could finish her 'little' threat.

They began to walk down the sidewalk and towards the Phoenix Garden, One of the best restaurants in Phoenix Drop.
"These are for you by the way!" Aaron stopped and handed her the flowers. Aphmau smiled as she took them.
"Thankyou!" Aphmau blushed. Their hands brushed against eachother but neither of them minded.

They walked inside the restaurant, a waiter immediately walked towards them.
"Hi, i'll be your waiter for tonight! I'll show you to your table!" The waiter smiled.

Aphmau and Aaron began following the waiter to one of the outside tables. They stopped at a table with a lilac tablecloth. An empty vase was in the middle of the table along with two lilac scented candles.

Aaron pulled out a chair for Aphmau. Once they both were seated, the waiter handed them each a menu.
"I'll have the spaghetti" Aaron said to the waiter. The waiter wrote it down.
"I'll have the lasagna" Aphmau smiled.
"Alright! Your food will be here shortly, in the meantime, would you like anything to drink?" The waiter asked.

"Just water" They both replied. They looked at eachother and blushed.
"Coming right up!" The waiter walked off.
"You can put your flowers in the vase if you want" Aaron said, blushing. Aphmau put her flowers in the vase. She then realized that this was the only table decorated.

"Did you decorate the table?" Aphmau asked.
"My friend is the owner of this restaurant, he helped me set it up" Aaron smiled and Aphmau smiled back.

Pretty soon, the waiter came back with their waters and left once more.
"Where's your favorite place to go?" Aaron asked, taking a sip of his water.
"The beach. I go there everyday to watch the sunset and sunrise" Aphmau said.

There was a short silence then Aaron spoke.
"I'm uh... i'm sorry about lilly by the way..." Aaron rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
"You shouldn't apologize for her, it's not your fault for her rude personality" Aphmau said, picking up her glass of water and taking a drink.
"Well... the reason she hates you is because she likes me... and at the grocery store... well... I kind of told her that you were my girlfriend so she'd leave me alone" Aaron blushed a deep shade of red. Aphmau spit out the water and burst out laughing.

Aaron stared at her in confusion.
"I bet the flowers made her even more mad!" Aphmau laughed. Aaron began to laugh as well.
"Not to mention the whole prank phone call!" Aaron slightly blushed remembering it but still continued to laugh. The waiter walked up to them while holding their food.
"Here you go you two lovebirds" the waiter smiled while putting their food on their table. Aphmau blushed once she heard 'lovebirds'.

The waiter left and they both began to eat.
"This is really good!" Aphmau exclaimed, taking a bite of the lasagna.
"Have you ever tried it before?" Aaron asked. Aphmau shook her head.
"What else have you not tried?" Aaron asked, eating some of his spaghetti.
"I don't know... I've always wanted to try cotton candy! And chocolate! AND CUPCAKES!" Aphmau exclaimed, thinking of all the foods she has yet to try.

"You've never had cupcakes or chocolate before?" Aaron asked, shocked.
"Nope!" Aphmau shook her head.
"Well, the Phoenix Summer Fair is coming up soon, would you like to go with me? They have cotton candy, cupcakes, and everything there" Aarons heartbeat quickened while he waited fot her answer.
"Sure! I'd love to go!" Aphmau happily said.
"Great! It's this Saturday, I'll pick you up! Where do you live?" Aaron asked.

Aphmau's eye's widened. She didn't have a house! She lives in the ocean!
"I'll meet you there!" Aphmau exclaimed.
"Oh, alright" Aaron smiled.

Once they finished eating and Aaron paid, He began to walk her back to Cadenzas since all the girls were having a sleepover there.
They both arrived at cadenza's door.
"I had a great time tonight" Aphmau beamed
"Me to, i'll see you tomorrow, have a good night" They hugged and stared into eachothers eyes.

They leaned closer but immediately pulled back. They stood there blushing.
"G-Good night aaron!" Aphmau smiled.
"N-Night aph" Aaron smiled back and turned around. He began walking down the road and towards his house.
Aphmau walked inside cadenza's house and was immediately bombarded with questions.

"AARONKUNALMOSTKISSEDAPHMAUSENPAI!" KawaiiChan fangirled.
"ITS 10:05! YOU'RE LATE!" Katelyn exclaimed.
"Soooo HOW WAS IT!?" Cadenza asked.

"It was wonderful!" Aphmau exclaimed, happily.
